Recently I have noticed a bit of a neon resurgence on the High Street. From earrings, to shoes, to scarves it seems you can't head to a party without a touch of fluorescent!

I have rounded up some of the best accessories currently on offer which should jazz up any ensemble. I especially like these heart bangles (£10) which are a bit cheesy, but fun!

London Fashion Week, Spring 2010: Topshop Unique

The Topshop Unique show was literally jam packed with celebrities! The front row read like a who's who of stylish celebs from Kate Moss to Alexa Chung to Leigh Lezark! The collection was shown to a '90s grunge soundtrack and the collection definitely had a vibe from the same era. Shapes were slouchy with pastel colours and Hawaiian prints. There were flashes of neon and stonewashed denim. There was a definite American retro atmosphere with edgy sportswear, funky one pieces and tie front tops. Some of the looks included graffiti sprayed pieces and strung together detailing. Accessories included round sunglasses and rucksacks proving that they really are back!

Celeb Style: Jordana Brewster

Jordana Brewster stole the show last night at the ALMA Awards in LA in a bright citron maxi dress by Reem Acra. The almost neon hue looks amazing against her skin tone, and I adore her funky accessories. The stacked bangles and statement ring bring an exotic element to her ensemble, while a box clutch brings in sleekness. On another note, I'm loving the wavy hair.

Glitterati: Lightning Bolt Necklace

Kristen Stewart has been causing quite a stir this week as she is spotted leaving the set of her latest movie The Runaways with a black mullet, which most of you didn't like. She has been keeping in with the rock image off-set too in plaid shirts, skinny jeans, Converse All Stars and another key accessory. When leaving the set earlier in the week with Joan Jett I noticed her lightning necklace which is sure to become a key item for her fans. It's easy to copy Kristen's style as there are many different lightning necklaces available including Pirate treasures' kitsch brass version (£6.99, pictured below). Spoiled Brat offer a diamante version (£40), Punky Pins have a cool neon take on the style (£2), but Me Me Me have created my favourite out of enamel with skull and star pendants too (£45).

Graduate Fashion Week: University of Northampton

If you weren't quite awake yet for the first Sunday show, you certainly were after five minutes. The impressive catwalk presentation opened with Roxanne Pitteway's biker chick collection with skin tight leather trousers, quilted details and sculpted origami folds adding snail-like shells to the back of jackets. Keeping the momentum going was Hannah Hutcheson with her fun neon accessories including killer heels, bib necklaces and oversized patent-patched bags.

Carly Booker made me smile with her romantic, Rob Ryan style collection. She produced an entirely white line with cut out detailing spelling out 'I am a white dress' and similar sentimental phrases. The pieces looked to be produced from paper with cute trapeze shapes. Next Laura Heron shaped herself as the next Alice McCall with feminine yet quirky designs using volume, ruffles and soft pleats.

The show closed with a memorable collection by Nilupul Hettiarachahige with black ruffles and rosettes forming a cropped jacket with dramatic train and a rose dress of two giant flowers. Overall, the first part of Graduate Fashion Week included a lot of leather which was shaped and sculpted in to a range of pieces. A tip for the Autumn, perhaps?

Sneak Peek! H&M Spring '09

According to H&M, Spring '09 is the time to turn up the romance. What you do in the bedroom is your business, but what you wear outside is theirs. The latest offerings, modeled here by Masha Novoselova, are playful and pretty, all the while keeping you comfortable - there's an apparent element of relaxed chic in this collection. Airy dresses and wide skirts come in watercolor shades as well as light neutrals.

Safari pieces, lightwash jeans, baggy chinos, and bouts of neon all contribute to the excitement. Also look out for futuristic, sporty influences. And let's not forget accessories; skinny belts, ethnic bangles, quirky colorful necklaces, clutches, and sling-backs are all in the mix. Yep, Spring has officially sprung.

London Fashion Week A/W 2009: Mulberry

Emma Hill presented her second collection for Mulberry today above the store on Bond Street. The room was decorated in black and violet with glitter cockroaches adorning the walls and faux trees. Hill looked to her own youth for inspiration citing 'mean teens' as her main subject. The linr included student favourites such as duffel coats, chunky knits and short woolen skirts. These are, of course, the clothes that we really want to wear. They're stylish, casual, yet strategically planned. It's essentially the Kate Moss impact where British women are striving to look like they couldn't care less, all the while remaining at the forefront of fashion.

Hill elaborated, "I love fashion and I want to wear fashion, but it’s something to be enjoyed, not be intimidated by. Most women I know want to feel better, cooler or sexier - and they don’t want to look like fashion victims."

The Mulberry girl became a bit rebellious this season with grungy elements like lumberjack shirts, biker jackets and skinny jeans reflecting an American influence. Accessories, for which Mulberry is clearly the most famous, stuck to the classic designs but in new proportions and colours, for example a neon oversized Bayswater clutch. The design house has also upped it's footwear game with loafers, round toe knee boots and funky ankle boots. What do you think of the collection?
