Summer has barely begun, but the end of season sales are already on. Today we continue the Spring picks by asking Net a Porter's head of buying and merchandising what key pieces we should be looking out for this season. Holli Rogers picked five items for us explaining, "At Net-a-Porter.com we love the idea of subverting the norm and this year we'll be wearing black in the summer - not only is it timeless and chic but it was the most prevalent color on the SS09 catwalks."

Net-A-Porter founder Natalie Massenet is set to debut an online designer outlet dubbed theOutnet.com come April. "It is going to be a silver lining of the recession. Women have got used to discounts," said Massenet.

A Sneak Peek at Preen for Net a Porter
Preen is one of the most exciting British labels producing edgy yet wearable designs season on season. Their Spring 2009 show exposed the bare bones of fashion whilst staying true to the sexy, body-con designs.
For Cruise 2009 Preen have designed a capsule collection of six dresses especially for Net a Porter, featuring their designs in key colours including hot pink and cobalt blue.
