Smoking is a bad habit and a serious health risk. It's dangerous even if you're not a smoker: 3,000 nonsmokers die in the US every year due to complications arising from secondhand smoke. Things aren't looking better for us nonsmokers either.

In yesterday's chilling episode of Oprah, the talk show host sat down with four child molesters and their therapist. After citing a startling statistic — that 90 percent of child molesters know their victims — Oprah (herself a victim of abuse) asked the men the advice they would give parents to protect their children. Here is what they said:
- Be alert when an adult spends more time focused on the children at a party than socializing with other adults.

Yesterday we ruminated over how insidery and confusing the man-tackles-mom pro-life commercial is, and now the Washington Post dug up the ad that didn't air. The one that makes semisense. While it also shies away from saying abortion and is still completely cryptic, it does not distract with ridiculous antics, making it less WTF?

The Internet's been abuzz about this billboard — many casting it off as an urban myth — but NPR has confirmed its existence on I-35 near Wyoming, MN. I can only guess people are so captivated by it because nobody knows how it got there. This is one time I'll give the former president the benefit of the doubt.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I read The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists, written by a grown man who calls himself Styles. But I am proud to say that I did walk away with new vocabulary, including: "peacocking" (dressing for attention) and "neg" (a light insult wrapped in the package of a compliment). Something else I discovered?
