The Exxxotica Expo opened today in Edison, NJ, for the second year in a row, meaning that blushing city officials failed in their attempt to prevent the porn convention from coming to town.
The city, hell-bent on keeping local fans from meeting their favorite porn stars, passed an ordinance that prohibited sexually oriented products at gatherings within 1,000 feet of a school, church, hospital, or playground. Only problem?

Southern California is notorious for its insane traffic; drivers there might be pulling out their hair, but the average commuting time is surprisingly not the worst in the nation. The US Census Bureau declared that commuters from East Stroudsburg, PA spend the longest time getting to work, averaging 40.6 minutes each way, typically driving to their jobs in the NYC area.
Other commuters who work in NYC can empathize; residents in White Plains, NY and Wayne, NJ have the second-longest commute, averaging 36.9 minutes.

Gisele was recently spotted nesting up in Boston as she gets ready for her and Tom's December arrival, but this weekend she was in NYC's Washington Square Park to take on a new job. The glowing supermodel was named a Goodwill Ambassador for the UN Environment Programme. Gisele is thrilled about her role and said, "I have been working on environmental issues for a long time and agreed to become a Goodwill Ambassador to be part of a global and far-reaching organization.

Mortgage apple cakes are the tastiest thing on the menu for one New Jersey homeowner. Angela Logan must make a $2,559.54 payment on July 26 if she wants to keep her home of 20 years out of foreclosure, and because of a successful bake sale it looks like she'll meet the deadline.
Logan cooked up the idea to sell apple cakes for $40 each in order to pay her mortgage, and as of Tuesday, she had more than 500 orders, including one from Hong Kong.
