The shows officially started on 10th September, which has given me quite some time to start analyzing the newest beauty trends for Spring 2010. Do You Prefer Caprice With or Without Makeup?

Social butterfly Caprice Bourret (aka, Caprice), was spotted leaving Nobu last night with just a touch of makeup. Typically, we see her dolled up to the nines, like she is here from the Serpentine Gallery's 2009 Summer Party a few weeks ago. I happen to think Caprice is prettier with a clean, plain face as opposed to layering on the works. Her look is refreshing and with her slightly tanned skin she doesn't look sallow or washed out whatsoever. How about you? I'll leave it to you to vote on whether or not you like her heavily or slightly made up.

Last night at the American Eagle Outfitters flagship store preview party in New York City, Gossip Girl actress Leighton Meester really played up her new rockstar style wearing cherry red lipstick paired with a mix of metallic gold and smoky purple eye shadow. This is an updated version of a popular red and purple trend from the 1980's, and it totally oozes too cool for school - even for high society institutions like Constance or NYU! Last night at Rihanna's amazing private Nokia concert that I was lucky enough to attend along with some of the PopSugarUK winners, not only did Jay-Z surprise us all with an appearance, but Rihanna looked gorgeous. She totally rocked the stage in two embellished bodysuits along with her newly blonde hair. For the afterparty, she dried off and changed up her makeup adding a flash of hot pink liner to her lower lashes. Would you ever consider copying this look?

This Cheap Makeup Remover Is Right on Target

I don't know about you, but when I see the skincare aisle at Target, my eyes glaze over. There's so much variety that it's easy to become overwhelmed. Last time I was there, I didn't have time to compare every single makeup remover, so I thought, "Enh, I'll try the Target brand. It's cheap."

Well, not only is it less than $4, but it gets rid of most makeup with just one swipe. What's more, I am not alone in my love of the Target makeup remover. My friend Sabs and I do weekly ANTM-inspired photo shoots. (You know, because we have awesome hobbies like that.) The last time we had a makeup-intensive look, I reached for that blue-tinted bottle. "Oh, that stuff is great," she said. "And cheap!" Which pretty much sums it up. There are lots of other good removers out there, but if you just want an effective and simple one, look no further.

How-To: Get Bar Refaeli's Sexy MTV EMA's Makeup

I asked, and you voted that Bar Refaeli was last night's red carpet beauty queen.

Personally, I was kvelling over her wavy hair, but when I looked a little closer, I noticed her awesome shimmering blue- green eyeliner that was enhanced with a hint of gold in the inner v of her eyes.

Paired with a creamy pink pout and tanned, flushed cheeks, Bar's makeup was aces. Her face was polished, young and fresh looking and that hint of metallic eyeliner gave her a current edge.

Achieving her look is fairly straightforward, and with the help of a little bronzer and the right brushes, I know that all of you beauty junkies can handle this one. However, for details on how to create that perfect finishing touch on her eyes, I'll lend a hand with a few helpful hints. To find out what they are, just read more.

Step 1: Begin by filling in your brows. Then curl your lashes and apply a pale pink shadow all over your lid and blending a matte brown, grey or plum shade in the crease.
Step 2: Next, apply black powder liner just above your lash line on the top and below your lash line on the bottom. Once you are done, dab a smidgen of gold shimmery shadow to the inner corners of your eyes.
Step 3: Finish by lining the inner rims of your eyes with a blue-green coloured metallic liner. That wasn't so difficult, was it?
