And how. As an avid Olsen follower (Michelle Tanner 4-Eva), I am admittedly thrilled to see the twins show off what their parents gave them at last night's InStyle Golden Globes after party. And by that, I mean their teeth. Mmmm, dental structure.

This may not seem thrilling to those of you who don't avidly follow the facial expressions of these two tiny little moguls, but believe me, for those of us who do (oooor is that just me?) this is like Christmas, Super Sweet 16, First Child Being Born and Shiloh Jolie-Pitt Pictures all wrapped up in one. I mean, really the last time we were involved with Mary-Kate's teeth, it was under much more sordid circumstances. It's nice to see the chompers being put to less-filthy use. Aaaaaannnd, I totally have a life.

The superhero group The Superficial Friends comprising Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, and the Olsen Twins, find themselves in this episode lured into the lair of diabolical fanboy Harry Knowles, who first threatens to write a bad review of LiLo's latest film, and then reveals he just wants to turn them into love slaves. How do they get out of it? Nicole choke holds one bad guy with her thighs, LiLo's breasts beat up another guy, and one of the Olsens turns into Bob Saget. Where has this crazy cartoon been my whole life?

Strange Things Are Afoot With the Olsen Twins

Mary-Kate emerges (very possibly, as many of your comments suggested, from Ashley's enormous bag)! Olsen Wonder Twins unite! With this abundance of Ashley looking shockingly normal (and dare I say cute) over the past week, I've wondered about the state and whereabouts of the more reclusive Olsen twin. Worrying, even, that MK was hiding out preparing to unleash an outfit of drapery the likes of which our world had never seen. And look! Mary-Kate is dressed (almost) normally! She's wearing HOT shoes instead of crazy brick boots! The hair can be dealt with another day! This is like ten steps in the right direction! It warms my heart, it really does. Wait a minute, what are the girls doing drinking something other and less enormous than Starbucks? Is this an episode of The Twilight Zone?

The First Olsen Twin Mix-Up of 2007

Yes we know it is confusing to keep track of which Olsen is which but when dedicating your cover story to one of the twins you would think you would make sure you know the difference. Well WWD uncovered the first MK/Ashley mix-up of the year which took place inside the pages of the January 8th issue of Star. The story questions whether MK is anorexic again but uses a picture of Ashley as one of the examples of the skinny twin. Yes, it's hard to tell the two apart with all their hair dying and everything but come on people, every tabloid publication should have at least one Olsen expert on staff at all times.

Mary-Kate Olsen Is Flying Solo These Days

Mary-Kate Olsen arrived at LAX without her other half by her side on Saturday. It's certainly not unusual to see the twins by themselves anymore and rumor has it that the two are insisting on doing all interviews separately while promoting their new jewelry line. MK and Ashley have been business partners almost as long as they've been sisters and are certainly their own different women these days, but I still have a hard time believing the rumors that there's a real rift between the girls. (It's not like we didn't see them together just days ago.) Seems a bit blown out of proportion and as MK herself said unless you're a twin, you can't understand it.

Beauty Glossary: Bird's Nest Hair

The term bird's nest hair refers to an oversize hair do that's often piled on the top of the head. It usually looks rather messy and disheveled as though a flock of birds or family of small rodents could be living in there. The phrase normally refers to long hair that has been pinned or tied back into a bouffant style, with plenty of volume at the crown.

The nickname may have originated because of the practice of birds to gather stray or cut off human hair to furnish their nests. As hair is bendable and relatively strong, the birds can use it to bind other materials together to make a fine strong nest in which to raise their young. Hair also has the added advantage of being light weight so the birds can easily carry it up to the tree and expertly weave it into the rest of the nest.

While bird's nest hair is a derogatory term, the style has recently come back into fashion with hair stylists such as Guido pioneering the look for Marc Jacobs and Moschino. The fluffy, messy look has also now been dubbed Candyfloss hair and stars like the Olsen twins, Girls Aloud's Sarah Harding and Mischa Barton have been spotted working the trend. The key to emulating this style is lots of hairspray, and not being afraid to back comb to excess.

This Just In: Olsen Twins to Sell Their NYC Penthouse

According to the New York Observer, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen have put their 5 bedroom, 4.5 bath home in the West Village, NYC, on the market for $11,995,000. The twins have apparently been renting it out for $35,000 a month for a few years, but did help create it. They "bought four properties from the developer preconstruction and designed their own floor plan in collaboration with the developer."

The Corcoran Group calls the listing "one of the largest penthouses in the West Village to ever become available," and a "12 room trophy, commanding some of the most spectacular water and city views in all of Manhattan through 53 large picture windows."

Some of the notable amenities include a private elevator, a glass-enclosed wood-burning fireplace, and a 22' x 18' eat-in kitchen with an oversized granite island and Viking Professional 6 burner stove. Oh, and naturally, an oversized walk-in closet with Southern views of The Statue of Liberty. Corcoran's broker, Jared Seligman, also said, “You have a separate staff exit; you can have the most fabulous parties." I'd hope that with a preteen entertainment firm (Dualstar) raking in $1 billion a year, the Olsens could, at the very least, throw a good party...

Olsen Twins Embrace Fur Trend, Probably Need Lots of Help Staying Warm

Despite fur-wearers being under more fire than ever, animal pelts look to be the must-have embellishment at the current New York Fashion Week. Designers aren't shying away from the controversial material in the slightest. In fact, they seem to be embracing it more than they have in years. The Olsens, never ones to care about the fur debate (like, at all) were no exception to the affront to PETA at the Jenni Kayne show.

Feelings about fur aside, someone has got to agree with me that the Olsens are looking better and better these days. Sure, Mary Kate got to the red lipstick first and Ashley had to settle for nude lips (probably for the best), but they're both finally looking like more average, more healthy 20-year-old women. Right? Anyone? Bueller?

Ashley Looks Great, Talks About Olsen Twin Powers

As I mentioned earlier, Ashley Olsen is Marie Clarie's September cover girl -- and she looks gorgeous! While she did wear a little bit of color for the cover shot, the rest of it is her standard black and white fare. I can't complain though because the photos are phenomenal. In the interview she talked about her relationship with MK. When I was little I always wanted to be a twin and it sounds like MK and A have an awesome twinsie connection. Here's more:

On Mary-Kate's Former Eating Issues:“That situation was more about how destructive the media can be to a person emotionally, to their identity, their public persona. It’s really sick."
On Their Twin Connection:“I know when she’s hurting, I know when she’s going through something, I know when she’s happy - whether I”m with her or not, I know. We both carry the weight of each other. When she’s doing really well, maybe I’m not doing so well. It’s weird that we’re never at the same place - we just kind of balance each other out.”
