Whether a teeny spoonful of the real thing or as a flavoring in treats, would your pooches' noses wriggle at the nutty goodness?

Paillette alert! Eva Mendes attended the Hollywood screening of The Bad Lieutenant wearing a Chris Benz multicolored, plunging paillette dress from his Spring '10 collection and Brian Atwood pumps. The dress is definitely eye-catching — different than what we're used to seeing her in.

Considered mutilation by many, a simple mention of the word "declaw" warrants an adamant response from even nonfeline fans. Even though the vocal aversion to declawing is already a no-brainer to most of you, the recently proposed ban on the procedure here in SF has earned (what may appear to be) some unlikely challengers — the SPCA.
Even though the organization both opposes the procedure and doesn't practice onychectomy at its hospital, it doesn't agree with legal regulation and SFSPCA President Jan McHugh-Smith worries the proposed law could have other negative side effects:
"The SFSPCA is opposed to declawing .

He's a contender. This giant burrowing cockroach made the news for (potentially) being the world's heaviest insect. Related to, but not the same as the roaches we see stateside, these creatures can range from 1 to 1.5 ounces
While it's not yet certain if Heathcliff measures up to the title, I'm torn between wanting to look away .

North celebrated his very special day on Saturday without one very special guest: me. Even though I whipped up that seven layer snack to honor his seventh birthday early, I still felt guilty leaving my number one (and only) pooch behind! Granted I did so in order to see my own dad for Father's Day — and picked up an amazing number of pressies for my pup in NYC — has anyone else left a pet on his birthday, either just for a couple hours or the entire day?

While laser pointers seem innocent enough (albeit stressful), there are people who believe they're totally inappropriate play toys. The argument for — "my cat loves it" — is contradicted by kitty behaviorists who say that prey capture is any feline's natural goal. The problem with a laser pointer: kitty never ever comes away with the prey (aka the light) in her grasp.

I think we can all think of someone that would appreciate this – be it the intense animal lover or the perpetual prankster. At first gruesome glance you may think this bear had an afternoon snack, but it's actually a sleeping bag disguising itself as a fake bear disguising itself as a real bear.
The Great Sleeping Bear was created by Amsterdam, Netherlands-based artist Eiko Ishizawa with fake fur, glass eyes and rubber nose and teeth.
