Orla Kiely, the textile designer famous for her intensive use of print and color, has brought her signature style to the home and is offering customers 15 percent off all of her homewares until Nov. 16 at her online store and her London flagship store. She has a nice selection of blankets, pillows, lampshades, coffee mugs, and wallpapers which can add that much-needed splash of color to your living room or your kitchen cabinet.

Recently, I've been really impressed by More Ways to Waste Time's inspiring dining room re-vamp. There was one seemingly small change to an heirloom piece of furniture that really caught my attention. Since the oak sideboard in the living room is a family heirloom, she couldn't paint it, but she did want to make the sideboard feel less imposing.
