Jennifer Garner attended The Invention of Lying premiere at the TIFF looking quite spectacular in a green tiered dress by Oscar de la Renta dress and Casadei sky-high taupe platform pumps - sizzle. The hue goes great against her brunette locks and I like how metallic silver accessories increase her sparkle. Indeed, this look is quite different from her usual playtime ensembles and I like it!

Funny girl Leslie Mann graced the red carpet at the LA premiere of Shorts wearing an abstract print dress by Oscar de la Renta and Christian Louboutin Bianca python pumps. We don't see enough celebs donning green and Leslie works it to perfection. The vibrant color complements the strawberry hues in her hair and it also looks amazing against her skin tone. Funky silver and diamond earrings by Siera complete her whiplash appeal.

This Oscar de la Renta African Print Dress ($1,225, originally $2,450) would be a fabulous piece to add to my collection of dresses. Accessorizing would be loads of fun, but runway looks come at a hefty price, and even at 50 percent off, I cannot fathom forking over the bills for this fun frock.

This Asos Woodblock Print Dress ($76) gives off the same ethnic vibe without the out-of-this-world price. The deeper scoop neck compliments a wider range of figures, including mine, and it also has pockets!

Wow, Oscar, you really know how to make a girl swoon. Oscar de la Renta's Spring 2009 bridal collection is one of the most well-rounded collections I've seen yet. It really does have a dress for every type of bride. You want an overdramatic gown to match your overdramatic personality? Done. You want to go simple in a delicate short dress? Go for it. You want to channel an over-the-top prairie gal? He has a gown, and hat, for you too!

If I had to take my pick from Oscar's confections, I'd go with this strapless one with the dramatic ruffled hemline. It's simple on top and fun on the bottom - the perfectly balanced bride.

The World Oceans Day celebration brought out a gaggle of well-dressed women to the Hudson Terrace in NYC. Supermodel and now-designer Amber Valletta attended the fête wearing a strapless silver Oscar de la Renta Resort 2010 dress that has an interesting origami detail on the skirt. In an attempt to toughen the look up, she paired it with black peep-toe booties with pearl detail. Her black-satin clutch and rhinestone necklace spice her up some more. When Cameron Diaz wore Oscar de la Renta's strapless floral dress I thought it was rather matronly for her usually casual taste. To add more maturity, Cam accessorized with matching red pumps and a red pashmina. Jennifer Lopez just wore the same dress, with the designer by her side. To accessorize, Jennifer opted for large gold earrings and nude patent sandals. Both are super ladylike but whose prim look are you liking more?
