Gwyneth Paltrow was decked out last night to celebrate the opening of London's Dean Street Townhouse, a new restaurant and hotel opened by the Soho House group. It was a rare night out for Gwyneth, who seems to have settled comfortably into her weekday routine with Apple and Moses during their school year. Gwyneth is willing to shake up her schedule when it comes to supporting the efforts of her closest friends, though she'll soon be switching gears in a major way when production on The Danish Girl finally starts.

Gwyneth Paltrow to Join Nicole Kidman in The Danish Girl

About a year ago Nicole Kidman signed on to play a transsexual in The Danish Girl, and now Gwyneth Paltrow has signed on to play her (his?) wife. Taking over a role originally slated for Charlize Theron, Paltrow will play Greta, an artist in 1920s Copenhagen who encourages her husband (Kidman) to pose as a female model - but has mixed feelings about the matter when her husband decides to undergo a sex change operation.

This is the second recent project that Charlize has dropped out of only to make room for another big star (the first is The Tourist), but do you think Gwyneth will be a better fit for the role?

The family spent their Summer in California as Gwyneth finished work on Iron Man 2, but now they're busy getting back to their English roots and routine despite some drama with dad Chris Martin. Moses didn't bring his special furry friend along to class today, but he seemed to be having a ball skipping down the street with his sister for company.

The actress is teaming up with Zoe Tee’s to create a seven look capsule collection, but typically for Gwyneth it has a charitable twist as all profits will go to Kids Company. Today WWD unveiled images of the collection which is said to combine '70s glamour with rock inspiration. It will be produced from cashmere blends, cotton and wool.

Showing a pleasantly surprising amount of humor, Gwyneth said, "Oh we love movies at our house, and we get everything. Everything!
