Reese Witherspoon and Paul Rudd looked cozy in their coats last night on the Philadelphia set of How Do You Know?. Paul has been keeping Reese company for the last few days, while her real-life main man, Jake Gyllenhaal, works on his own film across the state in Pittsburgh. Deacon and Ava are back home in LA with their dad Ryan, while Reese is braving the erratic weather of the East Coast Autumn.

Reese Logs Another Late Night on Set

Reese Witherspoon was back in Philadelphia last night to film How Do You Know? with Paul Rudd. She's been hard at work on the movie for the past few months, though occasionally Jake Gyllenhaal has been around to provide some handsome distraction. Reese was able to take a few weeks off to chill in LA with her kids Ava and Deacon, who are currently being taken care of by their dad Ryan as they ease back into their school-day routine.

Jake Knows How to Keep Reese Smiling

Reese Witherspoon and Paul Rudd worked into the early morning hours today on the set of How Do You Know? in DC. Jake Gyllenhaal was there for another night of moral support, sitting in a director's chair while watching his girlfriend. Reese acted comically upset while filming, but once the cameras stopped rolling, she got to cuddle up to Jake, who was a nice reward for all her hard work.

Jake's Late Night Fun Is Watching Reese at Work

Reese Witherspoon had both her men with her while filming How Do You Know? in DC yesterday. Jake Gyllenhaal kept her entertained between takes, but when the cameras started rolling, she only had eyes for her costar Paul Rudd. The shoot went late into the evening, but Jake stuck around until they packed it in for the night. This time the real life lovebirds were less matchy matchy, but it's not like they need to dress identical to fit perfectly together.

Paul Rudd Knows How to Keep His Beer Protected

Paul Rudd had a close encounter with a car on the streets of DC yesterday in the midst of filming a scene for How Do You Know?. Luckily he was unscathed and even managed to keep that six pack of Guinness intact. On Friday he was joined by Jack Nicholson, but we're still waiting for those love scenes with Reese Witherspoon. Paul and Reese teamed up for Monsters vs. Aliens this year, but we're excited to see them go beyond the animated world in their upcoming comedy.

Jack Nicholson to Play Paul Rudd's Dad in Rom-Com

This is fun to imagine: Jack Nicholson is in talks to join the cast of an untitled romantic comedy directed by James L. Brooks (Terms of Endearment, As Good as It Gets) as the blueblood father of a character played by Paul Rudd. The cast also includes Reese Witherspoon and Owen Wilson and the story "involves a love triangle, with Rudd playing a white-collar executive vying for Witherspoon's affections, and Wilson portraying a professional baseball pitcher who is also a love interest."

Nicholson's part was originally supposed to go to Bill Murray, but apparently "Murray's interest in the project waned and he fell out of touch," so Brooks asked Nicholson to step in. As Variety notes, Brooks' projects have led to two of Nicholson's three Oscar wins (one for Terms of Endearment and one for As Good as It Gets), so maybe this new comedy will bring Nicholson more good things.

Paul and Jason Bring Their Love to London Without Rashida

Paul Rudd and Jason Segel were in London yesterday for a premiere of I Love You, Man. It was mostly guy time for the screening and the afterparty, as their costar Rashida Jones had to miss out on the trip. We will be seeing her on TV tonight, though, when Parks and Recreation debuts on NBC. Buzz had a chance to chat with her about her work on The Office and her new series, which seems like it's going to be a good one despite early rumblings of trouble and having a few kinks to work out.

Paul and Jason embark on a touching bromance in the film and, when I showed you guys the trailer, the majority of you said it was a film you'd see rather than skip! Skins stars Kaya Scodelario and sisters Megan and Kathryn Prescott also showed up for the event, with the onscreen twins setting themselves apart with their different styles!
