Sir Richard Branson played host last night at his annual Rock the Kasbah charity event in LA. Lindsay Lohan hit the red carpet along with Kristin Cavallari and a Josh Radnor-less Lindsay Price, before she moved inside to say hi to Paula Abdul. Gavin Rossdale also posed for a photo with Lindsay, before he took the stage for the second time this week to serenade the crowd.

Olivia Wilde struck a pose this afternoon at the Power of Women luncheon in LA, while elsewhere the news broke that her costar Jennifer Morrison will be leaving their series House. Olivia was joined by a fresh-off-the-Emmys-red-carpet January Jones, along with Anne Hathaway and AnnaLynne McCord. Christina Aguilera was also in attendance, as her husband Jordan Bratman dared to be one of the few guys in the room.

Last night at the VH1's Divas Live concert, Paula Abdul made an homage to Ellen DeGeneres by dressing up as her and doing some of her signature dance moves on stage. She got pretty detailed with the look, even putting in blue contact lenses. We've made the comparison of other celebrities that look alike, such as Katherine Heigl and Ashley Judd; and there's even lots of stars with lookalike sisters.

The star-studded VH1 Divas kicked off last night at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, and new diva-inductees like Jennifer Hudson, Jordin Sparks, Miley Cyrus, and Kelly Clarkson walked the red carpet in their glamorous gowns. Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port looked gorgeous and sparkly, and we'll have more on LC's possible LA Candy movie deal later. Miley weighed in on the Taylor/Kanye incident, calling him out as disrespectful.

The first ladies of the music industry came together for VH1 Divas at Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York yesterday. Leona Lewis and Adele flew the flag for us Brits, and were joined by Whitney Port and Lauren Conrad: are you more excited for the return of The Hills or The City? Sheryl Crow and Miley Cyrus also posed in the arrivals hall, before performing together on stage.
