London Fashion Week: Celeb Spotting - Part One

Last week we watched the fashionistas flock to New York Fashion Week, but now they'll be crossing the pond as London Fashion Week kicked off yesterday, attracting all those interested in what we'll be wearing in Spring/Summer 2009. My girls FabUK and BellaUK will have all the details fashion and beauty-wise, while I'll be keeping my eyes on the front row to see what all those celebrities are seeing, wearing and doing! We saw Roisin Murphy at NYFW, and she looks set to be a fixture of LFW too, as she popped up at two events in strikingly different outfits.

Alexa Chung also did a quick change yesterday, and was hanging out with Peaches Geldof who brought her chum Cory Kennedy from the other side of the Atlantic. Peaches' sister Pixie was looking on trend in her black lace top, as was Nicola Roberts who looked cute in a short PPQ dress, using the fabric we've seen on Daisy Lowe and Sophie Ellis-Bextor in the past.

Sadly, there was no sign of Sophie last night, despite her being the person you'd most like to see over the next few days, but the week is young! Alexa's Frock Me presenting partner Henry Holland was also spotted, as was Adele, Kimberly Stewart, Erin O'Connor, Tim Burgess and newsreader Kate Silverton.

Peaches, Pammie And Pals Party Hard at Paris Fashion Week

The fashion crowd are in France this week as Paris Fashion Week is well under way. We've already seen Charlize Theron at Dior and Salma Hayek at Balenciaga, and plenty of Brits joined them on Friday. Kristin Scott Thomas, Bianca Jagger and Jade Jagger were at the Lanvin show, while Georgia May Jagger was watching Pamela Anderson making headlines with a wardrobe malfunction on the catwalk at the Vivienne Westwood show. Peaches Geldof was everywhere, showing off her plaits on Saturday after jokingly "marrying" her friend.

Fellow Fashion Week devotee Kanye West was also getting his fill of the ready-to-wear shows with his girlfriend Amber Rose, alongside Anna Wintour, Lou Dillon and Beth Ditto, who is expected to perform for Fendi later this week. Lots of stars came together for Roberto Cavalli's boutique opening party, including Diane Kruger and Milla Jovovich as well as Peaches, Kanye and Jade. JT Shows Jess and Gerard His Wares While Peaches Parties

At New York Fashion Week yesterday, GQ's most stylish American man Justin Timberlake showed off his wares at his Willam Rast show. Jessica Biel was in supportive girlfriend mode and Gerard Butler and Emile Hirsch were prettying up the front row. Peaches Geldof was at the Alice + Olivia show with a male companion, while Milla Jovovich, Julia Stiles and Kanye West followed on from the weekend and continued to enjoy the shows. American Idol alumni Kat McPhee and Kellie Pickler also graced the tents with their presence, and Fab US and Bella US are still getting all the backstage gossip! Peaches, Erin, Tess and Will Watch LFW Come to a Close

Yesterday saw the end of London Fashion Week's womenswear shows and the front rows were full of celebs getting a last look at the Autumn 09 collections. Will Young seemed rather amused by House of Blue Eyes' raunchy clothes, with Alice Dellal almost unrecognisable on the catwalk. Peaches Geldof attended the Peter Pilotto show alongside Erin O'Connor, who had changed her outfit after the Ashley Isham show. Erin was joined in the front row by Beverley Knight and a pregnant Tess Daly, who looked gorgeous showing off her bump in blue. Are You Pleased About Peaches New TV Role?

Peaches Geldof has taken on many varying roles over the past few years including designing, presenting and writing, and yesterday it was revealed that she has boosted her CV once again. Peaches latest gig is with GMTV as she will be providing coverage from New York Fashion Week.

She will be keeping viewers up-to-date with what's happening on the catwalk as well as behind the scenes with a bit of gossip thrown in for good measure. Peaches released a statement saying,

"Fashion is the thing that establishes creative talent and a person’s aesthetic individuality, but most of all it’s a fun way to express yourself, I love attending the shows I am excited to be covering NYC FW for GMTV."

Personally, I am surprised that the young socialite was picked for the role as she has previously declared that she "doesn't follow fashion". What do you think, are you pleased about her latest position?

Get Ups, Glasses And Understated Glamour At LFW

As I showed you earlier, the stars are still swarming the capital for London Fashion Week, with Peaches Geldof leaving her Dad at Luella and heading to the Issa show alongside Blake Wood, Will Young, Jenny Frost, Leah Wood Tamsin Egerton and Daisy Lowe who looked stunning in her orange frock. After the show she took her jacket off and wore the gown on to a party hosted by Stephen Jones, where her fellow guests included Erin O'Connor and Meg Matthews. Sugababe Heidi Range and her man Dave Berry went to the On|Off event looking smart alongside Jodie Kidd and Gok Wan, who was showing off his Chanel arm candy with pride! What a fashion forward crowd!

Celeb Style: Peaches Geldof At New York Fashion Week

Peaches Geldof has been in New York this weekend for fashion week and was spotted at the Preen show supporting the London based designers. I know that Peaches Geldof leaves people divided but I think she has nailed fashion week chic here. Front Row Beauty: Alexa Chung vs Peaches Geldof?

At the Topshop Unique show yesterday, girls about town Alexa Chung and Peaches Geldof snapped up front row seats at the label's London Fashion Week event.

Alexa is working her trademark black winged eyeliner look with a hint of colour on her lips. She has her hair tied back with a severe middle parting. Peaches looks more glamorous, although I'm not sure about the two tone colour of her hair at the moment. However, I do really like her fresh-faced makeup look. Her pink blush and lipstick looks pretty on her skin tone. Whose beauty look do you prefer?

London Fashion Week: Celeb Spotting - Part Two

Yesterday I brought you the first part of my celeb spotting at London Fashion Week, and another day meant another series of shows and famous faces in the front rows. Serial LFW attendee Peaches Geldof was catwalk-side again (and looking bored), and Mischa Barton, Rosamund Pike and Emilia Fox were also at the Temperley London show, where the models' hair referenced the 1920's, giving us a good visual aid for our twenties-set PopUK Book Club novel Brideshead Revisited!

Alexa Chung and hat-wearers Jaime Winstone and Roisin Murphy were at Luella, and Emilia Fox was everywhere, revealing a slinky metallic dress under that gorgeous blue coat as she sat with Jasmine Guinness at Jasper Conran. Celebs Keep Lining Up To Check Out Fashionable London!

London Fashion Week comes to a triumphant close today, and yesterday the shows and parties were still in full swing with fashion folk mingling with celebs all over the city! American Vogue editor Anna Wintour was seated next to Alexa Chung at the twenty8twelve show last night, and they seemed to share a laugh - do you think Alexa will be a future Vogue US cover star? Pixie Geldof sat on the other side of Alexa for the show, designed by Savannah and Sienna Miller, who had flown over from her starring role on Broadway to see the collection's London debut. My girl FabUK also caught up with Alexa as well as Leigh Lezark, so keep your eyes peeled for all the goss from her!

Kimberley Walsh was looking stunning in red last night at the 30 Days of Fashion party with bandmate Nicola Roberts, and I also spied her later at the Temperley party at Sketch. What a packed and exciting day!
