FABTV: Phoenix, "Lisztomania" (SF Brat Pack Mash Up)

I feel a smile coming on . . . this brand spanking new Phoenix video was filmed in my hometown, San Francisco, over the past couple Sundays. It's fresher than fresh. The kids are local talent, and one of my friends is even one of the danceaholics in it - hi Trish! (She's the vibrant redhead with the cool printed tee). It's so spirited. The dance moves may look familiar - an ode to one of the best scenes in The Breakfast Club. And the shots of neon garb hone in on the awesome '80s vibe. Smile on.

Joaquin and Gwyneth Premiere Lovers After Disastrous Letterman Interview

Gwyneth Paltrow and Joaquin Phoenix posed together on the red carpet at a Ferragamo and Cinema Society hosted screening of their new movie Two Lovers in NYC last night. Gwyn had on another daring outfit while Hilary Duff was happy to be there. Joaquin managed to suit up for the cameras including that of Casey Affleck who is still documenting Joaquin's recent career change from acting to rapping. Earlier in the evening Joaquin stopped by Letterman, though he wasn't much up for chatting. You have to see it to believe it - video after the jump - Joaquin barely answered anything Dave asked which left the talk show host in an awkward position. At one point Phoenix put his gum on the underside of Dave's desk. Joaquin has made it clear he's not messing around with his new rap career, though he might want to think about his interview strategy if he wants to be taken seriously.

Most of us are worried about Joaquin Phoenix losing it but apparently he has his mind set on being a rapper and he kicked off his debut in Vegas this weekend. Before we saw these videos many said you could not take him seriously as a rapper, and here is his debut as well as an unfortunate post-rap fall offstage. Casey Soaks Up Family Time Before Heading Back to Work

Casey Affleck and his son Indiana got dressed up in ties on Saturday while running errands including a stop at Rite Aid with Summer Phoenix and baby Atticus. Casey is known for taking long breaks between projects, but he's just signed on for a new film called The Killer Inside Me alongside Jessica Alba. He's proved his acting skills with his latest roles, and we'll look forward to seeing if Casey can churn out another Oscar-worthy performance.

Stars Come Out For a Special Night Honoring Newman in SF

Last night some of the biggest names in Hollywood got together in San Francisco for a reading of The World of Nick Adams at Davies Symphony Hall. The event was to benefit Paul Newman's Hole in the Wall Camp the Painted Turtle, which made it an especially touching and memorable evening. The legendary actor was honored by friends including Julia Roberts, Tom Hanks, Casey Affleck, Joaquin Phoenix and more. Bruce Willis didn't have any of his ladies, but smiled and showed off his salt and pepper beard. The celebrities all participated in reading the Ernest Hemingway stories on stage to the audience and among their peers - it was a very special evening indeed.

Some Lovely Ladies Support Summer's Odd Rubies

Summer Phoenix opened up her second Some Odd Rubies store in LA yesterday, with a little help from her beautiful girlfriends. Sister-in-law Jennifer Garner came out to show the love and provide a few hugs, as did a smiley Liv Tyler. Elizabeth Banks took a time out from being an underrated actress to check out the vintage wares. All of the ladies looked fresh-faced and fabulous last night, but there's no harm in shopping for new goodies while supporting a friend.

Joaquin Attacks Heckling Fan at Rap Performance

Joaquin Phoenix and his now-infamous beard performed at the LIV club at Fontainebleau in Miami last night. Joaquin made his fans wait almost four hours before appearing on stage smoking a cigarette. He began mumbling lyrics unintelligibly, then when someone in the audience apparently heckled him, he jumped into the crowd toward the fan while cursing. When things started to get violent, Joaquin was dragged back on stage by security. As usual, Casey Affleck was there recording the entire event. Most of you think his rap career is a hoax, but this incident leaves us even more confused. Check out the video below.

Joaquin Phoenix continued to own his new scruffy look with his ripped pants and cigarette hanging out of his mouth on a shopping trip with a female friend in LA yesterday. After his bizarre appearance on Letterman last week, the actor left us all wondering whether or not his new rap career is really just one big joke. If Joaquin is just trying to pull a fast one on all of us, he sure seems committed to keeping us guessing for as long as possible.

Another Son For Casey Affleck and Summer Phoenix!

Golden Globe nominee Casey Affleck and his wife, actress Summer Phoenix welcomed a baby boy!

According to OK! Magazine, the bundle of joy joins the couple's 3-year-old son, Indiana August.

And, the new addition is in talented company with uncles, Ben Affleck and Joaquin Phoenix. And our favorite playground pals - aunt, Jennifer Garner and cute cousin, Violet Affleck.

Casey and Joaquin Take Flight to Continue the Journey

Casey Affleck followed his brother-in-law Joaquin Phoenix through security at LAX yesterday on their way to the next stop on their bizarre tour. Joaquin's final movie Two Lovers opens this weekend and he has been adamant that his transition from acting to rapping is serious - not a hoax. In fact, he affirms he has no intention to change his mind saying, "I'm not one of those people, like, when I break up with my girlfriend, I don't ever see her again. I see her as friends, but do I ever think about getting back together? No, when I do something, I do it. So I have no intention." Joaquin's first performance as a rapper didn't earn too many fans, but it sounds like he's passionate about the "storytelling" so perhaps some practice is all he needs.
