We all know that limiting our time in the sunshine will protect us from exposure to harmful UV rays. But did you know there's a product that attaches to your cell phone and will tell you how strong the UV index is?
Featured on Gizmodo and Techie Diva, these direct from Japan cell phone charms start out being white and will change color as they absorb radiation from the sunlight.

When I saw these tiny cute Hello Kitty cell phone charms on Chip Chick I couldn't help but add it to my list of favorite Hello Kitty accessories! Trust me, these charms are small enough that they won't scream "I'm obsessed with Hello Kitty," but in all honesty, does that matter anyway? They are priced at around $13 and come in a pack of six different colors so you can mix and match.

How many times have you missed a call because your phone was lodged in your purse, backpack or pocket? Australian designer Jimeale Jorgensen has created the "nevermissacall" Phoneflasher to overcome the frustrating problem of missing your calls because you can't hear your phone ring. The interchangeable leather and crystal charms, which are priced under $20, slip on your bag and when your cell rings (or you get a text message), it lights up with a mini laser show.

The Miss Broome cell phone and iPod charms bring kitschy fun back to protecting your gadgets sans Hello Kitty, glitter or feathers. The line, which touts a marine and rock-inspired theme and is adorned by buttons and youthful embroidery, is made up of characters like "Two Sloops," "Captain Shivers," "Howdi-Culture," "Howd-Oui," and "Road Howdy," and seem to have a youthful Betsey Johnson influence. They each cost $30 and are 5-inches high and 3 inches wide.

This might be one of those accessories that only you will know is designer and you paid $240 for, but it's cute nonetheless. The Louis Vuitton monogrammed phone charm features two dangling resin cubes with Swarovski crystals and tiny golden brass LV logos. Available in beige and pomme d amour/perle, these accessories include crystals and monogram elements which appear to float in the clear resin finish.

I stumbled on this mirror cell phone charm at one of my favorite Japanese discount stores a few weeks ago and still can't get over how cute and funny it is. It reminds me of the Nintendo DM cell charm (yes, you read right "DM charm") a friend of mine picked up for me in Korea last year.
I love that it's kitschy and geeky, but slightly Victorian and whimsical.

Obsessed much? There's a level where your addiction to gadgets becomes unhealthy and a little weird, and that may be when your friends suggest that you and your fiancé use cake toppers that depict the bride and groom with cell phones, or it may be when you start building jewelry with precious, mini versions of your favorite gizmos.
Not as expensive and therefore not as nuts as Tiffany's $1,500 Camera Charm, this sterling silver Cell Phone Charm is $80 and starts a charm bracelet for someone who has a hard time being disconnected.

Icing out your cell phone with personalized charms and gems has long been an artistic and fashionable outlet in Europe and Asia, but has only recently begun to sneak into American culture. Right now my charm affections lie with C'Elegance, a company started by the Cell Phone Bling Group's gold member Suzanne.
Suzanne started the company after a trip to Hong Kong, where she discovered how trendy technology could be.

Worried about Jimmy learning you sent a saucy text about him to Tara? Does your boss walk by your desk and hover over your smartphone? If you answered yes to either of those questions, and you lust after Hello Kitty items, you are in luck.
