The Eye-Fi wireless card masters have done it again with their brand new Eye-Fi Pro card — a 4GB card which offers RAW file support, JPEG and video file transfer, geotagging, peer to peer connectivity and hotspot access.
The Pro SDHC memory card allows photographers to instantly upload photos to their computer, without having to depend on an Internet connection. Unlike the previous cards, Pro users can pick and choose the exact photos that they want to transfer with the Pro card by using the selective transfer feature.

French photographer JR is known for his political art installations, but that doesn't mean every picture he captures is rife with controversial content. Sometimes, the message is more subtle. While JR may simply be showing us the gorgeous colors and patterns of the clothing on this line in Monrovia, Liberia, I, of course, will use the image to urge you to create your own fabric art installation in your backyard — on your clothesline.

Bryan Adams' music video for "The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me is You" featured a runway show, but did you know that his love for fashion goes beyond a made-up catwalk? The Canadian crooner is the fashion photog behind Guess' Spring '08 ad campaign with model Line Gost (left). He did a great job capturing the sexiness of Sophia Loren, the inspiration for the ads.

Born in Judibana, Venezuela, in 1961, photographer Ron van Dongen was raised in Warmond, The Netherlands. After moving to the US's West Coast, he studied photography at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco and currently resides in Portland, Oregon. While he's photographed flora, fauna, and the human form, my favorite photographs of his are by far those of flora.

Sydney-based photographer Roger D'Souza shoots interiors, exteriors, and portraits all with equal skill and expert composition. Many of his photos happen to feature stunning architecture, though D'Souza highlights the gorgeous buildings with his expert use of natural light. Whether documenting worn floor boards and peeling paint or sleek, newly erected homes, he manages to give every photo a beautiful polish.

The natural light in Aimée Herring's interior photographs makes me want to pull up all the blinds in my office and bask in the sunlight, or just pack my bags and move right into the interiors themselves. Yes, these homes are also beautifully designed, so that helps. But, her composition of any basic vignette like a potted flower and a framed print or a vase of flowers and (insert anything) could sell any house in a New York minute, even in this unforgiving housing market.

I came across the work of Portland, ME-based photographer Kari Herer on Etsy and was absolutely swept off my feet. She does commercial, portrait, and fine art work, but it's her floral photography that really gets me. Fresh peonies and hydrangea make wonderful subjects for anyone behind the camera, but take a look at Herer's work and you'll be convinced she's truly a stylist at heart.

Photography is one of my favorite mediums, and unlike many other art forms dominated by men, female photographers have played a crucial role in shaping and helping photography to develop. From the photojournalism of Margaret Bourke-White to the movie stills of nonexistent films by Cindy Sherman, female photographers continue to seize life as it's lived in the world and in the mind.
