This post comes to us from GeekSugar Community member Lauren. Here's what she had to say about her Cool Capture image:
It has been raining heavily in California. Yesterday, the sun came out just for a moment to reflect its rays on the dew-dropped spider web.

I don't know that this app will ever make it onto my list of must-have camera apps for the iPhone, but it is good for some easy entertainment. The Lego Photo app turns any photo on your iPhone into Legos. While some photos are a little tough to see, tapping the Lego-ized version of any photo will change its Lego color scheme.

I know I'm all about the digital, baby, but there's something about 35mm film that keeps me coming back for more. Take this Golden Half Camera ($55) that shoots two old-school images within one frame of film. I'm excited about this because it means you have not one, but two opportunities to capture something fantastic in each frame.

The images of the Pentax Optio l-10 were supposedly leaked early yesterday morning, but by the afternoon the camera was confirmed and quickly made it to the top of my "want" list. Why? Well, look at this thing!

After the first round of camera head-to-head, I couldn't decide if I preferred my iPhone or his Droid, although the Droid's camera is technically superior. We decided to put our respective cameras to the test for a second round of battle royale during a dinner out. Side note: I know I said previously that phones at the table is a no-no, but this was in the name of research!

I have a big collection of photo booth photo strips in a shoebox from when I was younger. There's just something about the photo booth experience that really captures a moment! If you want to get that same retro flavor but don't have access to a photo booth, then check out Shutterfly's new little sister, Wink.

Professional photographer Nigel Barker definitely knows his way around a camera, so it's only natural that Sony would call upon him at this year's CES to answer photography questions submitted by inquiring Twitter users. When Nigel isn't giving models his two cents on the set of America's Next Top Model, he's either out playing with his laptops or off shooting in some exotic and distant locale. Needless to say, I don't need an excuse to watch this hot geek in action, so the good news is that he took some time out last weekend to share his vast knowledge of the craft.
