Which Pink Lipstick Do You Like Best on Amanda Seyfried?
Last night at the Mama Mia premiere in London, the typically makeup-free Amanda Seyfried arrived wearing bright pink lipstick. Because of her creamy, pale skin and slate blue eyes, I've noticed that makeup artists often put her in various pink lipsticks. I personally like the mauve in the middle the best, but the balmy-rose is also beautiful.
Trend Alert: Thistle-Coloured Lipstick
Thistle is a pinky-purple hue that packs a lot of punch even though it's considered a pastel. It was always a favourite crayon colour of mine until it was retired in 2000, but just because Crayola dissed it doesn't mean that it's unpopular in the makeup world. In fact, celebrities like Chloe Sevigny, Lil Kim and Whitney Port have all painted their pouts thistle recently, proving that it can be worn all year round.

Last night at the Nowhere Boy London Film Premiere, singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor posed on the red carpet wearing tomato red lipstick. Over the past few months we've also seen her in orangey-coral and rosey-pink shades too. All of these colours certainly stand out against her creamy, milky pale skin, but if you had to pick one that you liked best, which would it be?

Which Lipstick Do You Like Most On Taylor Momsen?
Last night at the Gossip Girl inspired clothing collection launch for Anna Sui in New York City, Taylor Momsen walked the red carpet with her ultra-long hair extensions and brick red lipstick. I like a bright lip on Little J, but I feel like the pink shade on the far right is a bit more flirty and age appropriate for the sweet sixteen year old. I also think the pale gloss works, but it doesn't make her eyes pop quite like the other colours.
Trend Alert: Black Eyeliner and Pink Lips Abound at the VMAs
Last night at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards in New York City, the most common makeup theme from the ladies on the red carpet was black, heavily lined eyes paired with pink lipstick. The eye style varied from dark and smoky on Kristin Cavallari to clean and winged on Madonna. Lips also came in a wide spectrum of shades ranging from candy floss pink on Solange Knowles to pinky-coral on Katy Perry.

The last time we saw bright pink lips like this was on Elisha Cuthbert and before that it was at the 2007 Spring Diane von Furstenberg Fashion Show. Now, two gorgeous A-list ladies are looking fierce in fuchsia!

Trend Alert: Mod Pink Lipstick at T4 On The Beach
At yesterday's T4 On The Beach concert in Weston-Super-Mare, performers gathered despite grey skies, wearing stylish outfits and funky hairstyles. Next to all of green and blue eye shadow present, perhaps the most popular lipstick shade I saw on Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Tulisa and Alesha Dixon was mod (retro) pink lipstick. It's fun to see this colour make a comeback and what better a venue than at a rockin' concert.
Love It or Hate It? Kelly Osbourne's Pink Lips
Last night at Flaunt Magazine's 10th Anniversary Party and Annual Holiday Toy Drive in Los Angeles, Kelly Osbourne channeled her festive holiday spirit into her lipstick! Her bold pink pout has been trendy for some time now, but besides Christina Aguilera, I've never seen it paired with such a pale face. I happen to think that she looks gorgeous here with 40's inspired hair and creamy skin, but I'm not the biggest fan of the iridescence in this particular colour.
