Nov 21 2009 - 8:30am You'd have to love pink, and monochromatic decorating, to really feel comfy in this overwhelmingly pink-and-patterned boudoir. Still, can you imagine how camouflaged you'd be if you wore matching pajamas?

Could You Live in This Room?
Several years ago, when I bought a condo, I was soooo excited to be able to finally paint and decorate the way I wanted. So, I read tons of shelter magazines and one designer (can't remember
his name) said, if you want to decorate with toile, go all out; don't be timid. Well, I LOVE toile so I made the decision to do my bedroom in blue and white toile . . . the bed covers,
curtains, wallpaper, chair covering, everything. When the workers finished, I about had a heart attack!!! It was so UGLY!!! But, on the advice of my sister, I slept in the room for a couple
of days. It was hilarious!! For the first time in my life, I had trouble sleeping!!
On the third day, I ran out and bought all white bed coverings and loads of white and blue solid pillows for the big chair. Within a month, I had someone come in and take down the wallpaper
and paint the place a cream. Very bad decorating decision!! Really!! And it cost me a fortune to have it done and then changed. Lesson learned!! I still love toile but I use it in
moderation!!
P.S.: I still think I should have left one wall covered with the toile wallpaper!!
