I like how she tempered the pretty design with sharp, black accessories. The patent belt adds a sassy touch while platform sandals lend bohemian flavor. Hello! These Jessica Simpson Hello Sandal ($89) have the same amount of spunk without the crazy price tag. The silver zipper is more demure than the gold, but I can spice it up by complementing it with rad silver jewelry.

Lindsay Lohan looks fresh and Spring ready in LA. Instead of the usual dark skinnies, she wore a pair of light-wash, wide-legged jeans from 7 For All Mankind. A loose henley top and zip fleece give her ensemble a casual touch while Chloe Jumbo aviator sunnies, gold macho watch, and wooden platform sandals up the glamour factor. Nicely done!

The Look For Less: Marni Platform Sandals

It was lust at first sight when I saw these Marni platform sandals walking down the runway. I love how the chunky platform and patent straps give off an artsy, architectural aura. I can already see myself wearing these with dark tights now and with a floral skirt in the Spring. Alas, marvelous Marni comes at a hefty price tag, so I'm searching for a cheaper version!

This BCBGirls Edmund Sandal ($110) is just as nice. I do a lot of city walking so the (slightly) lower heel is a lifesaver. The black heel is also a chic alternative to Marni's wedge heel. Done and done.

Jessica knows to keep the ones you love close. Last night in LA, the celebrity designer was on a dinner date with her coveted hair guru, Ken Paves. Her hair looks great but what really caught my eye was her bright and Summery outfit. I dig how she paired her flowy Tucker blouse with her trademark daisy dukes. The studded red Gucci bag is a little much for my taste but it works for this cowgirl.
