Yesterday, I talked about one designer who advocates play in public, but today I'd like to focus on play at home. At my house, there's always a deck of cards and a Scrabble board on hand, if not littering my coffee table, and one shouldn't be surprised to find trails of paper penciled with hangman games throughout my home. And there's always play going on when my dog, Ozzie, is in the room (or the backyard).

Having covered style and beauty in two previous books, American magazine Nylon has taken on music in their third book, Play. Behind the cool cover there's some fab music-related style and beauty inspiration, as well as interviews and dream mixtapes compiled by some of my favourite current bands and solo artists.
The first section covers "Icons" past and present – from Marianne Faithfull to Amy Winehouse, with The Slits, Missy Elliott, Kim Gordon, Kylie and many more in between.

Last night, our long, Upper East Side-less Summer came to a welcomed end when Gossip Girl's third season premiered. (Check out BuzzSugar for their favorite WTF moments.) While it lacked the melodrama I've come to love and expect, I was happy to see Blair and Chuck haven't let monogamy interfere with their Shakespearean scheming.
This year, instead of playing each other, they're on the same team, fooling unsuspecting girls into Chuck's arms so that scorned woman Blair can storm in and unleash her faux rage.

The rumor mill keeps churning about Spider-Man 4. Let's recap: First, word spread that Rachel McAdams would be playing new villain Felicia Hardy, aka The Black Cat in the fourquel — hearsay which McAdams later denied. Earlier this week Julia Stiles's name started floating around instead.

Taylor Lautner took a break from all those smart suits he's been wearing for premieres and TV appearances and benefit screenings, and wore a casual stripy top and jeans for dinner at BLT in New York City last night. I was lucky enough to meet Taylor when he was in London last week for the New Moon press conference and UK fan event and he revealed all about stunts, hobbies and taking on a female role! Check out all of the gossip from Taylor, Robert and Kristen in my series of interviews and read on to find out more from Jacob Black himself.

Nothing gets your heart rate up like dancing a jig. The Irish definitely have that down. While this play list contains no songs from Lord of the Dance, it is chock full of fun Irish music to move to.
