Considering all the things we hear and read about the presidential candidates, I'm first to admit that it can be very overwhelming to digest it all. I've picked up facts from Animals & Politics, and I wanted to share a few notes about candidates from both the Republican and Democrat parties with you. I'm by no means endorsing (or bashing) any candidates – so I've just selected positive points here.

Three wanna be American Idols will go on national TV tonight, trying to impress Americans in an attempt to get the most votes. I'm not talking talented singers, but rather the final three presidential candidates. I wonder if Ryan Seacrest is available to host Democratic debate #537?

When I first came across this CNN article "Millionaires-in-Chief" I felt like I was reading something I shouldn't — like when someone instant messages you about yourself. It outlines each presidential candidates' net worth, how they got rich, and how their money is invested. I'll admit, I found myself caring more and more as I scrolled through the candidates' net-worth profiles.

The Obama girls' Secret Service code names have been revealed as falling in line with the long presidential family tradition of having monikers that start with the same letter. Barack and Michelle's older daughter, Malia, 10, is Radiance and her sister, Sasha, 7, is Rosebud. It's not clear what, if any, rhyme or reason there is behind the names, but if you were moving to the White House, what would be fitting code names for your children?

Malia and Sasha Obama have already been promised a puppy by their president-elect papa, Barack, and as America's first daughters, we're sure many luxuries will be afforded to them. But every slumber party thrown at the White House comes with a price says a recent CNN article — the girls will grow up in the public eye and under the watch of their parents and the Secret Service. The piece discussed the media scrutiny and antics that long haunted past presidential kids.
