Last winter it was all about over the knee boots, now the footwear has stepped it up an inch as thigh high boots are en vogue. This style might remind you too much of Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman, but it's more wearable than you think. They appeared on the catwalk at Prada and Rodarte to name a few, will you be embracing the style this Autumn?

What's With Men Shooting Way Out of Their League?

Do you ever notice that gorgeous women are always getting hit on by not-so-gorgeous guys? In the movie Knocked Up, this point is illustrated to a T when Ben says, "You're prettier than I am," right before pouncing on Alison.

Although these characters are fictional, this happens all the time, and now there's a study to prove it. No matter how unattractive a guy thinks he is, nothing will stop him from hitting on a woman who looks like she should be on the cover of Elle magazine. In this study, 16,550 people were asked to rate their attractiveness and the looks of the people they date. The researchers discovered that men think appearance is way up there on the scale of importance, more so than women, and their own less-attractive appearance wouldn't stand in their way when it comes to going for a "hottie."

Perhaps this is due to men hoping women are more interested in inner beauty, or maybe male egos have something to do with it too. Whatever the case, the study suggests that eventually, men learn to accept that they most likely won't be able to get a date with an overly beautiful woman, since "The 10s among us, both male and female, want only to date other 10s." But hey, I give these guys credit for trying - you never know what could happen!

Will the Real Eliot Spitzer Please Stand Up?

Let's beat a dead horse, shall we? The Eliot Spitzer sex scandal took the nation by storm last week and although the dude is officially outta office, the internets are still gonna have their way with him. A number of Photoshop pros put their skillz to work and pimped out the former governor of New York - free of charge. Gothamist is hosting the Photoshop fun fest and the submissions have been nothing short of money. Take a peek. As for the photo to the left of Spitz in a purple pimp suit, let's be honest - that came straight outta the family album. No Photoshop there. But ladies, you know you likey . . .

Every Wednesday on BuzzSugar, I post a Recast challenge, where I ask you to choose new actors for a classic TV show or movie. The reader who submits the best cast wins a BuzzSugar t-shirt!

This week's recast challenge of Pretty Woman was extremely difficult, and surely no one recast list will please everyone. It was very funny to see some of the actors that continuously popped up in the recast lists, though, like the popular choices of Jeremy Piven to play the slimy lawyer Philip, Brittany Murphy in the role of Vivian's friend Kit, and Stanley Tucci to play Bernard.

I got a kick out of niqua230's variations on the cast, including one that places the Pretty Woman story in Compton. Daniel Craig is a beautiful choice to play Edward, as suggested by Cymone, though Michael Vartan would fill the role well, too, like sumnboutme posited.

Some of the ideas for Vivian were great, too, like leeluvfasion's idea of Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Tink Again's suggestion of Bryce Dallas Howard (that big, bright smile is hard to emulate!). Finally, one of my favorite ideas for Bernard is izzi_smith's suggestion of Alan Rickman.

I've memorized nearly every line from this 1990 hooker-with-a-heart-of-gold story, so it's hard to imagine other people bringing these roles to life. But I'd love to hear some suggestions!

Wednesday is Valentine's Day, which means that - like it or not - we're going to be inundated with sappiness this week. In the spirit of going with the flow, I devoted last week's Buzzworthy challenge to romantic comedies. This can be a groan-inducing genre, to be sure, but if done well, these movies can make you laugh, squirm, and "awww!" before you can stop yourself. (Two of my favorite romantic comedies are Singles and Pretty Woman.)

Speak Up: What's Your Take on the Reebok EasyTone Ads?

In a sea of words, a title like "Make Your Boobs Jealous!" really jumps out at you - something I can attest to after coming across these new ads for Reebok EasyTone.

If these shoes do what Reebok claims, the shoes themselves seem pretty neat - balance pods create natural instability in your step, which forces muscles to adapt and encourages toning in the butt, legs, and thighs. So far, so good, but as my buddy Très points out, the ads focus mostly on two talking breasts!

In the commercials, the camera constantly focuses in on the butt of the actresses, and two out of three times you don't even see a face. And in the commercial where a face is shown, the actress playfully teases with the cameraman that he must like what he sees since he's zooming in so much. Some of the tag lines seem questionable too: "88% of men will be speechless, 76% of women jealous, and 0% will know the reason is on your feet." I don't know about you, but my reason for staying fit is not to make the women around me feel inadequate.

I shared the commercials with a friend and she thought I was being a bit too serious. She got a good laugh out of them and thought they were playful and funny. She especially loved the one where a woman's breasts are given life as they complain about not getting any more stares. Why? Because the butt has taken all the attention away, thanks to EasyTone sneakers! Cue tag line: "Make your boobs jealous!"

When I asked why she wasn't the least bit offended, she left me with the reasoning that "sex sells" and "women want to feel beautiful." I'm going to ask myself if I am being way too serious, but in the meantime, I'd like to know what you think of these ads. Check them out below and share your thoughts with me in the comments section.
