- In 2006, the FDA approved telbivudine (Tyzeka), a new type of nucleoside analog drug, for treatment of chronic hepatitis B. There are now six drugs approved for hepatitis B treatment.
- In 2007, the FDA approved HepaGam B, an intravenous immune globulin drug, for preventing hepatitis B recurrence following liver transplantation.
Jessica Really Appeals to the Teens
Apparently Jessica and Cash didn't have time to take advantage of being in Paris after Eva and Tony's wedding, because the two were at the airport on their way out yesterday morning. And don't they just look thrilled as usual (though I'm loving her coat)? Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer may have been a bit overshadowed by the other Summer blockbusters, but the Teen Choice Awards committee took notice and nominated Jessica for 3 awards: Hissy Fit, Female Hottie, Action Adventure Actress.
Lohan Family Drama Heats Up Because Michael Won't Shut Up
Lindsay Lohan took a break from filming Ugly Betty in NYC yesterday to unwind with cigarettes and Samantha in NYC after the massive amount of drama that her father has been fueling in the past couple of days. After LL lashed out at him on her MySpace blog, her father answered back, blaming Dina for his suspicions about Samantha and saying that he's already got a TV special in the works to expose Dina for being a hypocrite. Here's a taste of what he wants to say:

FOX Premieres First
We've already watched 3 episodes of Prison Break which EW is saying is one of the 10 Shows You Need to See this fall. So far we are very intrigued to see where this show goes. Who needs Sundance when you can make your own winter wonderland right in Pasadena? Okay, it might not be as glamorous as Park City in the end of January, but it can't be all bad if Wentworth is there. The Fox All-Star Winter TCA Press Tour party included our favorite Monday night stars.

Last Night's Lost
Lost was back on its game last night. I love the episodes around Jack, Kate and Sawyer. While the flashback was a little predictable I guess they needed to remind us that Sawyer will con just about anyone.
Happy Hump Day: Wentworth Edition
Wentworth Miller and the rest of the hot gang were in Cannes promoting Prison Break at MIPCOM. We missed one of our favorite shows this week. We hope the World Series ends quickly so we can get back to more important programming, like weekly Wentworth.
