i liked the violet and cooper story i was kind of sad they moved on so quickly...

I would also like to see more humor in PrP. The finale with Violet's drama became to dramatic and OTT.

The only one I care about is Addison. I don't mind Naomi working in the other practice as long as it does not reduce the Addie/Naomi scenes together.

Did they confirm that Violets baby is Pete's?

Yeah like the majority of fans of this show, I watch for Addison.

I want to know if Josh Hopkins appears in the premiere to wrap up that storyline. I want to know who is going to be cast as Addie's mother or father as it is hinted we will meet them. I want to know more about the "big love plot" that Kate Walsh has hinted at.

I don't care less about Violet and neither does ABC since we already know the outcome of that storyline - Violet and baby survives. Sheldon is the daddy. Few people care whether she lives or dies. Even fewer care about the baby. Trying to get the audience to care about Violet by putting her in that situation clearly failed.

Given Bailey is crossing over in 3.03 it looks like ABC saw the terrible reviews of the finale and are trying to re-establish the show as soon as they wrap the baby crap up.

I still wish Addison would just move back to Seattle and put this whole show behind her.

I liker Violet and really like her with Peter. And I know a few people that care about her

I liked Pete and Violet pairing. They were sweet together and Amy and Tim have so much chemistry. I hoped that they will stay together. But then Violet went all crazy and selfish and now I don't like her like I sued before.
It's a pity that Idina Menzel is not a regular on this show. Her character and Pete would be great together. I wish he would finally found some happiness, he is my favorite character. Also Tim Daly deserves better storylines, he is a fantastic actor.

I hope for some good drama in the next season of PP. I wonder how everybody will be affected by what happened to Violet. If baby will not survive or if it survives, but Sheldon is the father, I hope it will be good opportunity to give Pete some meaty, dramatic scenes. Tim Daly is so good doing drama. OK, he is actually great in everything he does.

Adricon - Check out threads about the show on other boards - no talk about Violet. It is very easy to gauge feedback to storylines and there has been little response to that storyline other than disgust. If it was that interesting a storyline, ABC would want to keep the speculation under wraps, but as we know the outcome, ABC even know nobody cares. Crossover in 3.03 is there for a reason. The finale was crap.

I am so with you on questions 2 and 5. Private Practice used to the funnier sexier version of Grey's, and now your moniker "The Show that Kills Children" is more right on.

Clifton123 - I read a lot of boards where people talk about Violet, Violet/Pete and other characters and pairings. I know boards, where nobody talks about Addison, or if they talk they say they don't like her. So just because on the boards you go they don't like Violet doesn't mean that others feel the same. Besides, people writing on internet msg boards are just a very small part of the whole audience. There is no way you know what about 99% of viewers, who don't write on the message boards think or like.
Writing that this or that character is popular and you know that it's true for majority of viewers is just trying to promote this character. Some people believe that producers spend their all time reading message boards and do what is written their. LOL It's delusional, because they usually don't or just don't care. And good. It's their show and their story and they will tell it how they like.
BTW Shonda said in one of her recent interviews that she is happy, that PP is finally more of an ensemble show, than just Addison's dating adventures, so I guess you will need to get used to other characters getting storylines as well LOL.

I don't mind drama on the show. Honestly, what was wrong with finale? Such things happen, just read news. What I mind is silliness and cheesiness of the show. I like humor and comedy if it's not silly, so I agree that writers should give viewers more comedy relief, especially that they have some very talented comedic actors on the show. Both Kate Walsh and Tim Daly are fantastic comedy actors, why don't they use their talent more?
A mix of intense drama and comedy moments would be good for this show. Instead they try either only silliness (not even comedy) or only drama.

I'm so happy that Violet is alive. I love her and I love Pete & Violet. They are the best thing on Private Practice. Amy and Tim have fantastic chemistry together and they are fantastics actors. I love them both.

No way will they make Pete the baby daddy. The showrunners have already said Addison and Pete are the couple and will get together soon. As has Tim Daly.

Amy Brenneman says kissing Tim is like kissing her older brother. They have no chemistry together as lovers. Amy has said Cooper is Violet's big love.

I agree with others, this may be an ensemble cast but only in name. Kate Walsh is the only lead and she does all the promo. Addison is the one on the DVD cover and with her pic on the Official site.

Without Addison this show would already have been cancelled.

Hey_hey - People are fine with other characters getting storylines. Disliking Violet has nothing to do with that - Violet is a selfish neurotic wh*re who doesn't even know how to use birth control when sleeping with two guys. She is the most disliked character for a reason.

I hope we get more Naomi next season. Audra was wasted in S2.

I would love to see more Dell and Naomi, because season 1 had me hopefully and then season 2 let me down. I hope that they have not given up on this, because Dell still made it clear that he was trying to prove himself to Naomi. Just of the many funny moments that can happen from these two being together at least for a moment. I say give Dell what he wants, because he hasn't had a girlfriend yet on the show. I will only watch season 3 for Dell and Naomi Only
