Project Runway is one of our favorite shows. It has a little bit of everything: fashion, creativity, and drama. Although you didn't see it on screen, Project Runway was filled with backstage commotion this year. Highlights being the ongoing fight for Project Runway Season Six to Nina Garcia speculations. New York Fashion Week, Fall 2008: The Project Runway Finale Show (!)

Fashion week is coming to close and I just experienced my grand finale. How exciting is it to attend the Project Runway finale show?! Very.

I knew it would be a mob scene getting in, and luckily I was on the list (you never know sometimes). I wasn't too far in the nosebleeds - and I was directly facing the panel of judges and celebs. Tons of Project Runway alums were mingling in the crowd, including recent cast off Ricky. But honestly, my eyes were on guest judge Victoria Beckham. When she came out, in her orange draped dress and matching orange shoes, the crowd took notice. After photo ops she sat with Nina Garcia and Michael Kors. She was very poised and calm. Funnily, she took diligent notes during every collection - she was taking her guest judge job very seriously.

Lights down, lights up. Our girl Heidi appears announcing, "Hello everyone!" She introduces the judges, and guest judge, and the crowd swoons. Let the show begin...

One of the most exciting parts was waiting to see who was presenting their collection. You know the little shadow thing they do with the white Project Runway sign at the back of the runway, when someone walks by it but you can only see their shadow? That was the first glimpse of the designer to come. First up? Sweet P.

Obviously emotional (surprise) she was visibly nervous and kept her hello short and sweet. Sweet P's designs were never a favorite of mine but she did manage to pull together a cohesive collection on the runway, albeit a bit sleepy. With a palette of purple, olive green and mustard, her colors were right on for Fall. An olive cape was noteworthy, but some fits were off and black velvet jodhpurs? Next . . .

Chris! The crowd favorite, he came out to cheers, and he was very humble and sweet. He seemed shocked and calm. He opened with a lovely dyed blue draped dress but then the collection went vampiress. Now I love vampires, but there's a time and a place - this morning at Bryant Park is not it. Oh well, good for Chris for making it this far.

I know she's not the people's choice, but I've been rooting for Jillian all this time. I think her designs are feminine and smart - and concise. And that is what we saw: short pleated skirts, ruffled knits, a slight military vibe and bustier tops. She may not be the most vivacious, but she's one of the most talented.

We all knew this one was coming . . . Rami. Rami is also one of my top choices and I was eager to see his final collection, which, as he put it "celebrates women." Rami should really consider going into bridal because his gowns won over both his collection and the other designer's gowns on the runway. His separates - ruffled blouses, intricate draping and magenta pants - were overdone and redundant. His dresses were wonderful. But enough to win?

Christian has also held his own throughout the season. Definitely the show diva, when Christian was addressing the crowd he stopped and said, "Wow. Everybody looks fierce." It was Fab. His collection, with Starbucks colors of chocolate, ivory and mocha, and lots of black, had Edwardian touches, dramatic ruffles, head-to-toe black and an emphasis on the top half of the body. If Rami should consider bridal, Christian should consider couture. When Christian was taking in applause he did a little sashay to Victoria - she did one right back. It was maja.

So what's my prediction? Well, in the finale episode on TV there will only be three, so I'm guessing Chris and Sweet P won't make the final cut. For overall wearability and craftsmanship, I'm on Team Jillian. But I have a feeling Christian's over the top concoctions may win the judges vote. As for Posh's vote? Perhaps Jillian, because of her flirty little skirts and dresses, but maybe Rami and his gorgeous gowns. Alas, my favorite never wins. At this point in time, and after reading my run down, who do you think is going to win?!

Which Team USA Project Runway Look Was Most Fab?

Who's excited for the Olympics?! I am. And after last night's episode of Project Runway I am even more excited. Fashion and the Olympics do mix. And it's always nice to see Olympian Apollo smile. Last night's episode was the best thus far; it was very entertaining with Blayne's "tanorexia," Kenley's giggle attacks, and Jerrell's commentary. Sillies aside, I thought the winning three looks were all stellar. I'm starting to really like the winner - no spoilers here! - so I was hoping (s)he would win, but all three were impressive. But, if you were the guest judge, which all-American look would you have chosen as the most Fab?

Best of 2008: Favorite FABTV Show

Fashion is an increasingly popular TV show topic. This year we watched a few oldies but goodies - Project Runway, America's Next Top Model, Tim Gunn's Guide to Style - and turned on the tube for a few newbies: The Rachel Zoe Project and Stylista. Gossip Girl will always have a special place in our hearts for its eternal wardrobe appeal. Which show had your TiVo in a tizzy this year?

A Few Fab Words With Victorya Hong of Project Runway

Being aufed from this season of Project Runway didn't get Victorya Hong down. In fact, she came back full force and staged a whole runway show last week at New York Fashion Week - more than those still left on Project Runway can say for themselves, since they shared a catwalk. Just minutes before her label, Na-Be by Victorya Hong, made its runway debut, Bella (thanks doll!) caught up with Victorya for a few Fab words . . .

Is this the first time you've done a big show like this?
Yes; I'm scared.

Oh no!
And everyone keeps saying, "Scared? Well, okay, that means you're excited." And I say, "That means I'm really excited."

So a year ago, if someone had told you that you'd be showing at the Altman Building, what would your response have been?
I think a year ago that would have probably been something I never would have imagined. Even though it's happening now, it's still kind of hard to believe that it's happening!

How many different looks do you have?
I have 29.

Wow.
But it still looks small. When I look at the clothes and how much hard work goes into the clothes, and the eight minutes up on stage . . . I call it tightly edited.

What was inspiration for this collection?
It was definitely very '80s inspired. For me, that's the part of fashion that I really enjoy: doing the research, looking at images in archives, things like that. So that's what I did for a good month, I just looked at images galore from the early to mid '80s.

You're a child of the '80s, then.
Yeah! Were you?

How'd you guess?
[Laughs] It's hard for me to get away from that because I find myself listening to music from the '80s constantly, looking at films again from the '80s, looking at books, things like that. So I think it has had a pretty big impact on the way I look at things, and on my aesthetic in general.

Will people be able to buy the clothes tonight?
I hope so! This is my first really big collection. I've never really put things into production. I've done things here and there and sold them on the side, but I'm hoping this will be a breakout collection.

Stars Shine At The Emmys Show and Behind The Scenes!

The stars arrived looking glam last night, and they were all there to see who would receive the statuettes at the Primetime Emmy Awards! 30 Rock and Mad Men were both big winners last night, taking the top Comedy Series and Drama Series trophies. Kristin Chenoweth was thrilled and tearful as she took to the podium to accept her Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy award for Pushing Daisies while Toni Collette won Best Actress in a Comedy for her amazing turn in The United States Of Tara. Leighton Meester, Blake Lively and Ricky Gervais were among those presenting awards, while Justin Timberlake won for his guest spot on Saturday Night Live. Alec Baldwin jumped for joy over his win in the press room, while Neil Patrick Harris was the fantastic host for the evening!

Announcing the 2009 Emmy Winners!

Well, the Emmys are over, and we have our full list of winners. Were you guys surprised by this year's picks? (Check out all my Emmy polls here.) I thought the show started out pretty unexpectedly when underdogs Kristin Chenoweth and Toni Collete took home trophies, and there were a few other surprises along the way. Towards the end, though, the big wins seemed pretty predictable with Mad Men for drama, 30 Rock for comedy - no surprises there.

I had a lot of favorite moments of the night - more on those later - but mainly, I just enjoyed seeing Neil Patrick Harris as host. I loved everything from his opening to Dr. Horrible, and most of you thought his opening number was pretty great, too.
