After the short season of Dirty Sexy Money ended last week with episode 10, sadly this week's ninth episode of Pushing Daisies is also the season finale, due to all that striking the writers' did last year. But fear not, if you need another Daisies fix, those nice people at ITV have also decided to put the episode that they missed out (episode 2 aka "Dummy") online, so you can watch it here! But for now, here's my thoughts on last night's episode:
- For its final episode this series, the show left on a high note – with a great balance between drama and giggle-inducing cleverness.
- I was so happy to return to Young Ned's Play-Doh world.

So it was Halloween episode time on Pushing Daisies last night (a problem we constantly have thanks to the delay in us getting American shows), but I certainly got into the Halloween spirit as the story was perfectly ghostly and mysterious. Here's some of my thoughts:
- I was so happy to get an Olive-centric episode. I love her.

We got something a little different this time round on Pushing Daisies: a plot thread not involving our core characters that could continue for more than one episode. Paul (Pee Wee Herman) Reubens turned up as a scent expert who sniffed something odd on Chuck. Will he be back?

Wow, that was maybe the most jam-packed Pushing Daisies episode yet. Funny lady Molly Shannon turned up as the owner of a taffy business that was trying to steal the Pie Hole's customers, Ned solved a murder and ended up framed for another, and Olive had a new romantic opportunity — if only she could have recognised it. But my favourite thing about the episode was how much we learned about Ned.

We're on episode four of Pushing Daisies, and the show's getting more fantastical by the week. I'm really looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this latest installment, so make sure you leave some comments after reading some of mine:
- Most heartbreaking line of the series so far was from poor Ned – "What's a rooftop full of bees compared to someone who can catch her when she falls?" Bless.
- Investigations this week surrounded the reason a crop duster crashed into a luxury apartment, which was far more complicated that it sounded, and Olive pondered what to do about Chuck's secret.

Oh Pushing Daisies, I love you already, you didn't need to bring in Joel McHale (lovely host of the E!'s The Soup) to make me love you even more!! And puppies! Love it.

Well, ITV brought us another new American show to enjoy last night, this time starring an actress of our own – the gorgeous Anna Friel. Pushing Daisies started last night in all its whimsical, quirky glory, and I'd love to know what you thought about it. First, though, here's what I thought of last night's show:
- First of all, I want to live in their over-saturated fantasy world.

Sorry for the hyperbole, but I'm pretty sure this week's episode of The Vampire Diaries, "Haunted," is the best one of the season so far. The Halloween setting is perfect for playing out Vicki's vampiric transition, Bonnie's exploration of her mysterious genealogical history, and the exposing of "The Council."
There's plenty to talk about, so let's chat about the good, the bad, and the bloody (spoilers aplenty ahead!) when you read more

The stars arrived looking glam last night, and they were all there to see who would receive the statuettes at the Primetime Emmy Awards! 30 Rock and Mad Men were both big winners last night, taking the top Comedy Series and Drama Series trophies. Kristin Chenoweth was thrilled and tearful as she took to the podium to accept her Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy award for Pushing Daisies while Toni Collette won Best Actress in a Comedy for her amazing turn in The United States Of Tara.
