Fearne Cotton was out and about at the weekend, heading back and forth from the Radio One studios in central London where she presents her shows. The Top Of The Pops Christmas Special is returning this year following a successful campaign for its return, and Fearne will be presenting as usual. Take That, Girls Aloud, Pussycat Dolls, Duffy, Kaiser Chiefs, Dizzee Rascal, Calvin Harris and McFly are slated to appear, alongside woman of the moment Alexandra Burke. I can't wait!

Lewis Hamilton Hugs His Honey Nicole After Historic Victory

Lewis Hamilton was surrounded by his family and his girlfriend, Nicole Scherzinger, as he left his hotel in Sao Paulo yesterday following his historic race to become Formula 1 World Champion at the weekend. Nicole was trackside to see Lewis' victory, and said: "I nearly broke down, it was so thrilling. I thank God". Lewis' win is a pretty sweet way for them to celebrate their anniversary: they met a year ago at the MTV Europe Awards in Munich (take our MTV quiz to get yourself in the mood for this year's show!). The couple plan to spend a whole lot more time together in the coming months, as Lewis is reportedly off to the States to support Nicole during rehearsals before moving in with her in London at the end of the year, and then joining her on tour.

What to Download: New Music on iTunes

Tuesdays are big in entertainmentville: Not only do all the new DVD releases hit Netflix, but new music also pours into stores, including iTunes. So I take a spin through each week's iTunes music releases and pick out some albums and tracks worthy of a download. In addition to the songs and albums below you can now download a second volume of the Sex and the City soundtrack. Here are today's selections:

Let's Rock: The new Kings of Leon album, Only By the Night, seems like a pretty straightforward effort by the band in all its arena-rock glory. I've already been digging the track "Sex on Fire," and I think "17" sounds interesting. I'm looking forward to giving it a whirl.

When I grow up I might not listen to this stuff anymore: First of all, I have to tell you that I laughed out loud when I laid eyes on this cover. It appears that the middle Pussycat Doll lost her shirt on her motorcycle ride. But I digress. I don't think I'll ever buy an entire Dolls album but will admit I've succumbed to their catchy dance tunes in the past. The song we've all heard a lot already, "When I Grow Up," is of course included on their new album as is an obligatory song featuring Snoop Dog called "Bottle Pop," and what I bet is the next song none of us will be able to get out of our brains, "Halo".

Reflecting: Oh, wow, I really like Cold War Kids and I'm totally digging their new album Loyalty to Loyalty. I read an article about what inspired this new album and discovered that the lyrically mesmerizing track, "Every Man I Fall For," is written about a female's perspective of relationships. I'm really enjoying the song "Relief" as well but I'll likely download the entire thing.

"Down-home Dixie-fried home-grown..." Those are some of the fun, spirited lyrics from the first track on the Old Crow Medicine Show's new album Tennessee Pusher. The banjo-plucky album has more of the OCMS's super-Southern country-folk tunes. In fact, it's like a fond love letter to the South, from the energetic "Alabama High-Test" to the much darker "Motel in Memphis" and title track "Tennessee Pusher."

Pussycat Dolls Can't Get Enough of Sam's Secret World

A month ago the Pussycat Dolls made their debut on Bebo show The Secret World Of Sam King, and they must have enjoyed the experience because they're back for another appearance. Last time, Sam got stuck in a lift with the band, and in today's installment the Dolls play a trick on Sam when they catch him sleeping in their dressing room. They're certainly making the most of their time in the UK, rocking different makeup styles at the Vodafone Live Music Awards: you were loving Jessica's look best. I doubt the girls will copy Sam's tiger look any time soon.

Which Pusscat Doll Beauty Look Do You Prefer?

American girl band The Pussycat Dolls looked gorgeous at the Vodafone Live Music Awards in London last night. Every doll has their own distinctive style in terms of beauty and hair, all of which I find very glamorous.

Kimberley (left) sported smoky eyes and a touch of rose lip gloss, while Melody's skin glowed in creamy pink blush. Don'tcha just love her high ponytail (wink). Nicole (centre) looked sultry with her wavy hair worn loose and lashings of black eyeliner.

Ashley and Jessica were bang on-trend with retro pin-up beauty styles. Note Ashley's punky blonde quiff and pale pink lipstick. Jessica (far right) wore her hair in a low beehive with a smooth fringe and contrasted her black and white dress with dark red lipstick. Whose beauty look do you prefer?

Duffy And Leona Know That Fashion Rocks!

At the end of last week, before the VMAs, crowds of celebs were in New York for Fashion Rocks, which helped kick off the city's Fashion Week. This year it was also helping to support US charity Stand Up To Cancer, and a host of amazing female singers including Beyonce, Mary J Blige, our very own Leona Lewis, Natasha Bedingfield, Ashanti, Carrie Underwood and Mariah Carey took to the stage to sing their single "Just Stand Up" for the cause - check out the video after the jump.

Beyonce also took to the stage with Justin Timberlake for a duet, and Deborah Harry teamed up with Fergie for a number too. Of course, fashion was the other focus and Rihanna really took her stage-wear to the max with her feathered outfit. Taylor Momsen looked way older than her fifteen years in a titchy minidress, and her Gossip Girl costars Leighton Meester and Chace Crawford were also on hand, looking gorgeous as usual.

Dramatic Dresses And Dapper Dudes at The MTV VMAs

LA was host to the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards last night, and nominees, presenters and performers flocked to the red carpet for the show. Black seemed to be the order of the day as Christina Aguilera, Ashlee Simpson, Miley Cyrus and Heidi Montag showed up in gothic tones, meanwhile Heidi's The Hills arch-enemy Lauren Conrad showed up in a gorgeous short white dress. Pink wore a striking red and black striped number, while Katy Perry turned up in... well, not a lot actually!

I can't wait to hear what you think of all the red carpet attire, so once you've flicked through my gallery of photos let me know your thoughts! The men were either suave in suits like Chace Crawford, Drake Bell, Zac Efron and Josh Peck, or casual in the case of Jonah Hill, Kid Rock and Corbin Bleu.

Pussycat Dolls On The Secret World Of Sam King

The Secret World Of Sam King has been airing on Bebo for a fortnight now, having premiered with a cameo appearance from those popular Jonas Brothers. Tune in tomorrow and you'll get to see the Pussycat Dolls appear alongside the eponymous post room employee. Sam gets stuck in a lift with the band, and gets a special parting gesture from Kimberley at the end. We spotted the girls in London late last week, dining out at Nobu with Nicole's other half Lewis Hamilton - looks like they're making a habit of surrounding young men. Lewis Dines With The Dolls

Lewis Hamilton dined out in London Tuesday night at Nobu with the Pussycat Dolls, including his girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger. The couple looked fairly glum as they left the restaurant, but Nicole's bandmates Kimberley Wyatt and Ashley Roberts looked much happier, beaming from ear to ear. I can imagine there were a fair few customers in Nobu that night wishing they were sat on a different table – I wonder what Lewis's secret is to keeping all those ladies entertained?
