The addition of Queen to my SingStar disc collection certainly helped take my SingStar parties to a whole new level - and I'm not just talking about the high notes! Well did you know that Queen is also making its way onto Rock Band? That's right, on Oct. 20, you'll be able to really rock out with ten stellar Queen tracks. And don't you worry, "Somebody to Love" is definitely on there.

MTV UK's Greatest Superstar Is Revealed!

Queen Gets Their Very Own SingStar Game

Any excuse to re-enact the "Bohemian Rhapsody" car scene from Wayne's World, and I'm all about it. Starting today, you'll be able to channel your inner Freddie Mercury (and Garth and Wayne) thanks to SingStar Queen ($28). This 20-track game features all of the hits from the English rock band, including "We Are the Champions," "Under Pressure," and "Crazy Little Thing Called Love." It also features a voice control menu which allows players to choose songs in the carousel from their microphone and multiple game-play modes including solo and freestyle. And I thought the Britney Spears song pack was going to be a trip!

The artist takes a photo of your face and neck and imposes it onto the image of the portrait of Queen Elizabeth. It's a pretty cute and cheeky idea, and an obvious choice for those of you who love decorating with silhouettes.

Reuters reports that Ridley Scott and Leonardo DiCaprio will re-team for a thriller titled Low Dwellers.
CBS has canceled Jericho - again, writes the Hollywood Reporter.
Billboard writes that Queen + Paul Rodgers will go on a four-month European tour this fall in support of its new studio album, releasing in Britain in September.
The CW and the producers of American Idol are teaming up for an hour-long medical drama called Austin Golden Hour, Zap2it reports.
Variety reports that Catherine Zeta-Jones has joined the cast of an untitled New York-based Bart Freundlich-directed romantic comedy.
British actor Paul Scofield, who won an Oscar for his role in A Man for All Seasons, died Wednesday at the age of 86, Zap2It writes.

Who Should Play Freddie Mercury?

The most intriguing news comes from the sketchiest sources: The UK's Daily Mirror is "reporting" that Borat's Sacha Baron Cohen will be playing Queen frontman Freddie Mercury in a biopic about the singer's life. This comes as a surprise since months ago it was confirmed that Johnny Depp would be playing Mercury in a biopic and, well, nobody pushes Johnny out of a role! So, while this news may or may not be true, it got me thinking... which actor would make a better Freddie Mercury?
