Ever since Coco Chanel created the Chanel 2.55 in February 1955 quilted handbags have been en vogue. Recently it seems that more celebrities than ever have been showing off their trusty vintage style handbag and this weekend Lily Allen, Lindsay Lohan, and Nicola Roberts all paraded theirs. A Chanel quilted handbag will set you back around £1000 but there are plenty of other quilted bags on offer. Whether you want a small clutch (like Nicola) or a shoulder bag (like Lily and Lindsay) you're sure to find a quilted tote to suit your needs. Celebrity Style: Whitney Port in London

Last night, I was lucky enough to attend an exclusive screening of the first new episodes of The City and The Hills. Both series begin on MTV on 18th October and the first episodes are pretty explosive! Whitney Port attended the screening showing off her amazing model-like legs in gold tights and a cute white dress. She later layered up with a leather jacket and accessorised with a quilted handbag for dinner in Knightsbridge. Whitney spoke briefly about loving London shopping (especially Selfridges and Topshop) and her clothing line, Whitney Eve, which she would "love" to see in the capital's department stores.

Unless you've been hiding somewhere that the internet doesn't reach for the past month, you'll be aware that the long-awaited Coco Before Chanel film is finally released across the UK today. The story of Gabriella "Coco'" Chanel's early life stars Audrey Tatou and is sure to impress, not least because of its Karl Lagerfeld guided wardrobe. Last night, the Queens of Vintage organised the first ever fash-mob event at London's St Pancras station (aptly where Eurostar departs for Paris) as stylish ladies put on their best Chanel and pearls (or nearest thing) and grouped together to celebrate the film's release. I went down there to check it out and was not disappointed by the tweed jackets, quilted handbags and even a bottle of Chanel No. 5. Fashion Logo Lollipops: Love It or Hate It?

Are you a sucker for high-end fashion brands? I am and I'm not afraid to admit that yes, I covet the classic quilted Chanel handbag with interlocking C logo. However, I'm not sure how I feel about these logo lollipops. Artist Massimo Gammacurta created these designer suckers (that come in a variety of flavors) based on the symbolic initials of the world's most luxurious brands.

What do you think of these outrageous pops? Do you prefer caramel Yves Saint Laurent or grape Gucci?
