A lot of stylish hotties were present at the Whip It premiere in LA last night, but one in particular caught my eye — Ellen Page. The young star stepped out of her fashion shell and donned a tough, yet sleek, grommet embellished LBD by Alexander Wang — she's totally on trend with those sheer sleeves. To further her funk, Ellen wore hardcore cutout booties by Rachel Comey, layered chains, and a studded clutch.

No visible makeup is officially a makeup trend: at Rachel Comey, BCBG, and Cynthia Steffe, the models have all gone seemingly bare. In fact, Lisa Butler, the makeup artist at the BCBG show, said, "It’s all about the individual. The look is finished, but not made up."

What to wear when you don't feel like braving heels but need a hint of height? Go uptown and downtown in some sliver-wedge boots. This style has a way of looking cool but also polished.

Fab and I both loved Rachel Comey's geeky-chic styles on the runway, but something tells me you'll have strong opinions on the hair and makeup that went with them. I think the softly crimped, pulled-back hair is inventive—even if the purple-tinted lips reminded me of hypothermia. What do you think?
