Reese arrived in Milan on Thursday to spend the weekend with her man at Maggie Gyllenhaal's wedding to fellow actor Peter Sarsgaard in Brindisi. The couple looked tanned and relaxed as they made their way through the airport - I wonder if the trip got them thinking about wedding bells a little closer to home in the future. Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal strolled hand in hand down Abbot-Kinney Blvd. in Venice, CA on Sunday. The two looked like any other cute, in love couple enjoying a sunny day in the hip neighborhood. Earlier this month Reese and Jake brought her two kids to Martha's Vineyard where they participated in a local road race and now Jake will be treating the family to more kid-friendly fun. He's one of a handful of celebrities who are taking part in a special Sesame Street series, "Shalom Sesame" to teach young viewers about Jewish Heritage.

Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal almost blended in with the crowd at an Elton John and Billy Joel concert in Philadelphia, PA on Saturday. The adorable couple had Reese's kids with them as Deacon got a great view from up on Jake's shoulders and Ava stuck by mom's side. During the show Elton dedicated "Tiny Dancer" to petite Reese who had a big smile on her face taking in the live music with the huge crowd. Reese and Jake are making a habit of checking out shows this Summer and this time Ava and Deacon were lucky enough to tag along for the classic concert.

Jake Is "Fantastic" in Prince of Persia, Says Bruckheimer

Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal browsed the racks at APC in LA over the weekend and came out holding hands. Most of you still consider Jake total manjoyment and lucky Reese is the one that gets to enjoy the prize - until Prince of Persia hits theaters, that is. We saw Jake incredibly bulked up for the role and this weekend Jerry Bruckheimer spoke a little about the movie while at a press junket for Confessions of a Shopaholic. He said:

"I've seen most of Prince of Persia. Looks fantastic - you won’t recognize Jake Gyllenhaal. He's worked really hard [to bulk up]. Well, he’s a cyclist anyway, he bikes all the time, so he just had to do a little lifting, but he looks fantastic."

Sounds hot already, though it doesn't hit theaters until 2010. Until then day to day handsome Jake is just fine.

Jake's Birthday Break With a Soon to Be Very Busy Reese

Ever the gentleman, Jake carried some flowers as the trio headed home. Today it will be Jake with all the presents as he celebrates at his 28th birthday party, but it looks like being home with Reese and her family around the holidays is the perfect present. While Jake continues to film Prince of Persia, Reese is gearing up for more projects of her own. The actress has signed on to two new comedic projects in 2009 working with some of Hollywood's finest, Cameron Crowe and James L Brooks.
