If there ever was any doubt, it's now been confirmed that Bill O'Reilly has the temperament of a two-year-old. A vid of him blowing a gasket behind the news desk surfaced yesterday and can be found in nearly every corner of the net today. His a-hole outburst has become a viral video success.

As we reflect on the year's best everything, I'm dragging out all of the CDs that are likely to make my best of 2007 list, including Armchair Apocrypha by Andrew Bird. In addition to being the most handsome and sharply dressed multi-instrumentalist of 2007, Bird makes some of the most surprisingly danceable music around, despite the fact that violin is one of his primary instruments.
That fact hasn't gone unnoticed by the electronica wizards behind Four Tet, who remixed Bird's "Imitosis" to very fun effect.

If Britney had the good sense to make this little tyke her next producer, she'd have a hit single in no time. Skeptical? Watch and let this kid's music speak for itself.

Now that it's acceptable for indie-rockers to like Justin Timberlake, it's only natural that his music is getting remixed by hipster electronica outfits. Case in point: This insanely danceable, down-and-dirty remix of "LoveStoned" by Justice. (Thanks to Hate Something Beautiful for posting the track.)
The French beat-making pair brings out the orchestra elements on the song, adds a slight industrial vibe, and beautifully evokes JT's Michael Jackson roots.

Feist's new album, The Reminder, is full of must-listen Summer music. But the first Feist song I ever heard was actually the pensive and chilly "Gatekeeper," from 2004's "Let It Die." Now, the wintery ballad can settle in alongside the warm-weather anthems of The Reminder thanks to this Folded Beach Towel remix by Pocketknife.

"Sleeping Lessons" is easily my favorite song off The Shins' latest album, Wincing the Night Away, and I like the way the band gives it an entirely different vibe on this remix from the new Australia EP.
The slowed-down "Sleeping Lessons (The Rac Mix)" eschews the startling mood swings of the original in favor of a more soothing and lullaby-like sound. To listen and tell me what you think, read more

"In the Morning," the breakout track from Junior Boys' 2006 album So This Is Goodbye, was one of last year's most unexpectedly sexy songs. (It even made it onto my songs for gettin' it on playlist.)
But I'm also loving this very different take on the track, remixed by Hot Chip. In the hands of the London electro-indie rockers, "In the Morning" becomes more of a languid, club-suited song with lots of robotic effects and skittish beats.
