Luckily, Renee Zellweger's hair has grown out a bit since she cut it last fall, but it still looks a little awkward to me. It's almost the hair equivalent of mom jeans - just not a look you'd expect to see at the Oscars. (The color is beautiful, though.) Besides the hair, her makeup is rather simple. "I'm not an actress who made her way based on physicality - I think quite the opposite, in fact. I sort of disappear a little bit, with respect to my looks. I'm lucky. I'm not a standout, kind of knockout kind of girl that, you know, it's all about my great hair or something."

- Renee Zellweger, when asked if she's judged by her looks like the character she plays in My One and Only. In the film, whose tagline is "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Husbands," she plays Anne Devereaux, a woman who leaves her cheating husband with their sons in tow, one of whom just happens to end up being the very tanned actor George Hamilton.

Last night's Golden Globe Awards brought together the biggest celebrites in television and film, with leading ladies like big winner Kate Winslet, Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Renee Zellweger, Angelina Jolie, Drew Barrymore, Salma Hayek, Penelope Cruz, Glenn Close, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Anne Hathaway and so many more lining up on the red carpet in their glamorous dresses. Newly blonde Drew worked some big hair, while her buddy Cameron and fellow superstar Angelina kept theirs down and relaxed.

Anything-but-basic black was the popular colour for Renee, Kate and Tina Fey, as well as Evan Rachel Wood, Sally Hawkins, and Amy Adams. The Costume Gala Delivers the Glitz and Glamour!

The Met's Costume Institute Gala did not disappoint last night in NYC, bringing us one of the most star-studded red carpets of the year. The theme was "Model as Muse," which apparently brought out some interesting fashion choices. Kate Moss and Marc Jacobs were two of the hosts and had all eyes on them when they arrived first and her outfit included a turban. Justin Timberlake was also the man of the evening with Jessica Biel on his arm.

Rihanna switched it up for her first red carpet appearance in months and still looked sexy in her dramatic menswear. Josh Jackson and Diane Kruger can do no wrong in our eyes so it was not a surprise that they're perfectly put together. Something must have gotten into the Gossip Girl ladies because they both went with bold choices - Blake slicked down her hair and showed off a long sexy slit while Leighton might have landed herself on a few worst dressed lists.

In case you missed it, Gisele Bundchen accessorized her hot dress with her new big diamond ring and hot husband. Plus I have to give a shout out to the Olsens who looked totally different but both great. Love Ashley's sexy open back dress. Celebs Get Creative At The Costume Institute Met Gala

Last night was a very starry night in New York, as celebs got all dressed up for the Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. There were outfits ranging from the classic to the costume-like, with the stars showing how daring they were with their clothing choices! Leighton Meester took a huge step away from the classic look of her character Blair Waldorf in her patterned outfit, Agyness Deyn rocked a silver dress with big hair, Kate Moss was dressed by Marc Jacobs in gold, Victoria Beckham showed off her pins, and Kate Bosworth went a little gothic in her number.

Madonna played up to her daring reputation in a surprising outfit, Emma Roberts went for a hip-extending sparkly red silhouette, while dashing men Joshua Jackson, Josh Hartnett and Ed Westwick all looked very handsome as they walked the red carpet.

Renee Brings Her Appaloosa and PDA to the Red Carpet

Renee Zellweger was all smiles and high hair last night at the Academy Theater in Beverly Hills for the premiere of her new movie, Appaloosa. There hasn't been too much buzz about the film, which opened in limited release yesterday - check out the trailer here - but the cast seems like a close bunch. Renee, Viggo Mortensen, and Ed Harris had nothing but kisses and hugs for each other joined by the Cox-Arquettes on the red carpet. Ed directed the movie and said when he met Renee he "fell in love with her." It must have been fun being one of the only girls on set in this western cowboy flick and looks like the actress got some good friends out of the deal.
