Rihanna Makes a Few Adjustments to Her Schedule
Rihanna left her NYC hotel yesterday afternoon following her late night of partying at the Costume Institute Gala. While she was rubbing shoulders with other stars on the red carpet, Chris Brown was back home in Virginia quietly celebrating his 20th birthday. Rihanna's busy travel schedule has one fewer trip on her itinerary now that her supposed comeback concert in Dubai has been cancelled.

Rihanna turns 21 today, and while the past few weeks have been incredibly hard, hopefully the support of her fans around the world can help her realize how loved she is on this landmark birthday. Today is especially bittersweet for Rihanna fans in light of the leaked photo of her currently under police investigation (that we are choosing not to post or link to). Instead, let's take a look back at some of Rihanna's remarkable career highlights since bursting onto the scene in 2005.
Chris Brown Turns 19 With Rihanna by His Side
Despite the kissy photo evidence that these two are more than friends, Rihanna and Chris Brown kept their distance last night — at least while the photographers were around — as they celebrated his 19th birthday at Rebel in NYC. No matter, though, because they had their hands more than full with all of their pals at the bash. Rihanna partied with singer Lil Mama, while Chris held court with his many admirers.
Rihanna's Birthday Bash Includes a Sweet Serenade
Rihanna bought herself a snack while shopping at the Grove Wednesday evening, but she got an even sweeter treat at her birthday party later that night. The singer celebrated her 20th birthday at Les Deux with Kanye, Wilmer and her maybe-boyfriend Chris Brown. The party included a cupcake fight and a special a capella version of "Happy Birthday" sung by Chris.

Rihanna Keeps Rolling With the Good Times
Rihanna stepped out to shop in a leather and floral dress yesterday afternoon, but last night she was in a strapless black number to celebrate her publicist's birthday at the NYC club Greenhouse. She posed for photos with a few friends before heading into a VIP section to do a little dancing. It's the second in a string of parties Rihanna's attended this week, as she takes it easy before taking the stage with Jay-Z and Kanye next month.
