Rihanna Lunches While Chris Talks to Larry King

Rihanna had lunch at one of her favorite restaurants, Da Silvano, in NYC yesterday. Chris Brown's sentencing has brought both he and Rihanna back in the news again and revealed scary incidents about their relationship. Still Rihanna didn't let that stop her from going clubbing at Greenhouse with Serena Williams and Queen Latifah after Chris's court date on Tuesday. Chris also partied that night, which could have gotten him in trouble since his probation prohibits him from being at places where "alcohol is the chief item of sale." We'll be hearing from Chris himself when his interview on Larry King airs next week, but in the meantime Rihanna doesn't seem to be letting anything break her stride.

Say What? Rihanna Speaks Up About Abuse

- Rihanna is opening up for the first time about the abuse she suffered during her relationship with Chris Brown. In an interview with Diane Sawyer that will air tomorrow, Rihanna explains that the chance to help other people learn from her experience has been the positive thing to come from her high-profile ordeal. She says: "I want to give as much insight as I can to young women, because I feel like I represent a voice that really isn't heard."

Justin, Jessica, and Nicole Share Jay-Z's Golden State of Mind

Jay-Z brought out a star-studded crowd for his show in LA last night. Jamie Foxx checked out the show as news broke that he'll be bringing back his favorite '90s alter ego, and Justin Timberlake took a break from practicing his golf game to walk hand-in-hand with Jessica Biel. Nicole Richie had a busy weekend of red carpet events, but she kept going with Samantha Ronson by her side. The famous attendees were treated to a special cameo from Rihanna, who joined Jay for "Run This Town" before she debuted a single from her album - check out the video after the jump. Jay-Z has been touring North America after his big NYC Yankees show, but he and Beyonce are still thinking of making time for a new addition.

Rihanna Bundles Up in Black as She Prepares For Release

Rihanna showed off a new hairstyle yesterday, which is quite a feat considering her ever-changing hair, as she headed into an NYC recording studio. She's putting the finishing touches on her new album, which apparently will be out on Nov. 23. Rihanna's all black and leather outfit was fitting for the chilly NYC weather, but it was quite the contrast from the barely there ensemble she sported for a recent photo shoot in Germany.

Sugar Bits - Rihanna Won't Press Charges

Rihanna does not want to press charges against Chris Brown for the alleged assault that happened last month, according to police. She said she will not testify against him in court, and prosecutors in Los Angeles will be asked to decide if the case is strong enough to proceed without her testimony. - Telegraph

Fashion's Night Out Succeeds With Tons of Stars and Parties!

Manhattan was buzzing last night with all the excitement of Fashion's Night Out. It was an amazing way to help kick off New York Fashion Week across the city. Celebrities were out in full force to support the event, holding court at different stores while fans and press mingled, shopped, and spotted the well-dressed stars. Anna Wintour bounced between locations posing with her fashion-icon friends like Charlize Theron, Kate Hudson, and Sienna Miller. The Miller sisters were the guests of honor at the Intermix boutique, while Lindsay Lohan hit up Bloomingdales. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were surrounded by crazy security - maybe the most of anyone - for their appearance at Barney's. Meanwhile, Victoria Beckham was incredibly gracious despite the crowd at Bergdorf Goodman, posing with fans and pouting for cameras.

Nicky Hilton and Rachel Zoe were a vision together at the Bally party, while Sarah Jessica Parker laughed with Oscar de la Renta and Barbara Walters at Oscar's boutique. Charlize Theron signed copies of her Vogue September issue while Rihanna sauntered into events with all eyes on her daring black outfit, and Blake Lively held down the preppy front at Ralph Lauren. Rihanna Makes a Few Quick Changes Back on the East Coast

Rihanna sported a few different outfits yesterday while in NYC. She stepped out in a sheer top and furry hood to meet friends for lunch at her favorite spot, Da Silvano, before slipping into a tight gray number for dinner at Phillipe. She and her pals then moved for some late night fun at the Karaoke Cave, which seems like an intimidating comparison for any fellow singers. Rihanna only just arrived back in New York, while Chris Brown is down in Virginia getting to work on his court-ordered community service. His first day involved a roadside cleanup, but Rih doesn't seem to be paying him any mind as she moves on with her own life.

Rihanna Keeps Rolling With the Good Times

Rihanna stepped out to shop in a leather and floral dress yesterday afternoon, but last night she was in a strapless black number to celebrate her publicist's birthday at the NYC club Greenhouse. She posed for photos with a few friends before heading into a VIP section to do a little dancing. It's the second in a string of parties Rihanna's attended this week, as she takes it easy before taking the stage with Jay-Z and Kanye next month.
