PopSugarUK Meets The New Moon Cast Part Two: Kristen and Robert Respond to Relationship Rumours!

Kristen Stewart changed out of her sheer dress and into jeans and a t-shirt for dinner at a Spanish fish restaurant with Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner last night, after they attended the fan event in Madrid. I caught up with the trio when they were in London earlier this week, and the question on everyone's lips was what's happening between Rob and Kristen, especially after those hand holding pictures! While the pair were happy to talk about kissing scenes, their response to this particularly tricky question was somewhat different. When asked how their personal relationship affects their working relationship, Robert laughed and said "it becomes very speculative", but Kristen gave a fuller and more intriguing answer:

"Any good relationship that I've ever had with an actor has always been so emotional and personal. If you don't have that then you're just lying, and I have that with Taylor and everybody that I've ever worked with that I've ever gotten something from. You need that. It doesn't mess with you because you're better friends with someone on set and you need to be playing different characters. You're on a higher level of getting each other, and so you're more comfortable and thus more able to give a more honest performance."

How has your family responded to your fame?
Kristen: "My family's embarrassingly proud of me. My brothers get overtly protective, so I've made rules now, like you can't go outside and scream at people if they have cameras. But they're embarrassingly proud."
How do you prepare yourself to meet your adoring screaming fans?
Taylor: "I don't think there is any preparation."
Kristen: "No there's really not. When you have that amount of human energy thrust at you, it doesn't matter how much you think about how cool it is, or the fact that it happens all the time, I think it's an undeniable life force. And that's why I get so nervous. Literally I can feel so much... energy."
Taylor: "We live off the fans' adrenaline."
Kristen: "Sometimes [laughs] We need it to live, all the time. It's like, if it stops we're going to die!"
Robert: "You wear a lot of layers as well. I always find myself wearing a lot of layers so they can't see you hyperventilating. That's a good preparation technique!"

Do You Believe Robert Pattinson When He Says He's Single?

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were spotted getting very cosy at the weekend at a Kings of Leon gig and in a taxi, but in an alleged interview just days before, Robert insisted he's single, saying:

"I don’t have a girlfriend. I don’t know why. You always think you’re going to get more girls after you’ve made a movie and it never happens. You sit there and you’re like ‘I’m a big movie star and I want to go out with some models’ but I don’t know why that doesn’t happen. It’s especially different in LA. Most of the women there are actresses and by default that makes them a little bit nuts – not that that’s a bad thing. But I don’t really have a type. Whenever I get asked who my favourite celebrity crush is, I have no idea."

Rumours that Rob and Kristen are moving in together have already been shot down by her rep, so could it be the case that the Twilight costars are just really good friends? I'd love to know what you think, so tell me: do you believe Robert when he says he's single?

OK! magazine in the US is reporting an exclusive that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have broken up. According to a source close the couple, Robert has been getting too serious for Kristen "talking marriage" so she has said they "need to take a break". The source also claims the relationship was taking up too much of Kristen’s attention meaning she couldn't spend time with friends and family, but Robert apparently plans to rekindle their romance. There's been so many rumours about the couple, and I'd love to know what you think of this latest story, so vote below to let me know: do you believe Robert and Kristen have split up?

Taylor, Kristen and Robert Feel The Love at UK Fan Event

Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson felt the UK love at a fan event at Battersea Evolution last night. The guys were smart while Kristen was colourful: do you love or hate her look? The New Moon trio smiled wide as they signed autographs for fans before answering their questions in a panel discussion with director Chris Weitz. Earlier in the day I was lucky enough to meet the gang at a press conference, where Robert talked about fame: stay tuned for all the gossip and check out Molly's interview with Robert!

Rob's Harry Potter pal Bonnie Wright (and rumoured girlfriend of Caius aka Jamie Campbell Bower) joined the Twilight stars for last night's event, as did Chloe Madeley who showed her love for Team Jacob: show your allegiance with these cute goodies. Cam Gigandet Is Still a Villain to Remember

Cam Gigandet went out to lunch at Cafe Med in LA yesterday with his girlfriend Dominique and their daughter Everleigh. Cam may have met his demise in Twilight, but he's still raking in the accolades for his work in the movie, and next weekend he's up for Best Villain at Spike's Scream Awards. We're rooting for him and also hoping that some of his costars, namely Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, and Kristen Stewart, attend the show, where we'll get new New Moon footage. While we won't be seeing Cam in any of the rest of the saga, he has tons of new projects coming up. He's been shooting a dark and scary movie, The Experiment, and Kristen Bell will be joining him, Cher, and Christina Aguilera in the sexy musical Burlesque.

The Emmy Parties Continue All Around LA After the Show

Lots of celebs had fun at the Emmy Awards last night, and the good times continued around LA with various afterparties. The HBO bash brought out the stars of Entourage, with Jerry Ferrara cuddling up to girlfriend Jamie-Lynn Sigler as AnnaLynne McCord smiled for the cameras. January Jones struck a pose on ET's red carpet, and inside big winners Jon Cryer and Toni Collette chatted with their newly-acquired gold. The exclusive Governor's Party was the destination of Mariska Hargitay, Jennifer Westfeldt and Jon Hamm, who wasn't home to see all the crazy moments from the latest episode of Best Drama Mad Men.

Blake Lively picked another low-cut dress to mix and mingle at the HBO event, where Big Love's Ginnifer Goodwin and Chloe Sevigny appeared to be having fun together. Over at the Governor's Ball, Andy Samberg left girlfriend Joanna Newsom's side for a moment to pose next to big man of the night Neil Patrick Harris. Alec Baldwin proudly showed off his statue, and Debra Messing gave a big bear hug to pal Mary-Louise Parker. Kellan Lutz was one of the lone Twilighters making the social rounds, taking a little break from working with Robert Pattinson and the gang up in Vancouver to hit the ET bash.

Robert Pattinson Insists He's Single and Doesn't Know Why

Robert Pattinson's fans have been dissecting the photos of him maybe-kissing Kristen Stewart over the weekend, but apparently he is still declaring himself single. In an interview, Robert allegedly talks about how he thought being an actor would score him models and that actresses are too much of a handful. Rob also revealed what it's like to meet Twilight moms and his original desires to be a politician or musician. The big question we're left with, though, is: do you believe that he's really single? According to The Mirror:

On being single: "I don't have a girlfriend. I don't know why. You always think you're going to get more girls after you've made a movie and it never happens. You sit there and you're like 'I'm a big movie star and I want to go out with some models' but I don’t know why that doesn't happen. It's especially different in LA. Most of the women there are actresses and by default that makes them a little bit nuts – not that that's a bad thing. But I don't really have a type. Whenever I get asked who my favourite celebrity crush is, I have no idea."
On his fans, some of whom ask him to bite their neck: "I have to tell them: 'Look, I can't [bite you] I'm afraid, because it will hurt' . . . Most of the girls are all pretty young so it's just kind of funny. But then you get the Twilight Mums who love you like mums! And you can take that too far. I mean, it could be 'Edward breaks up Twilight family.' . . . I've been uncomfortable in crowds my whole life. I've always felt that everyone is looking at me . . . I could be in a supermarket and have a full-on panic attack when there's no one else there."

On his looks at the beginning of his career: "I always looked like a girl up until a few years ago and because I never did any sports or anything I was always kind of gangly. I was never really a good model. I was terrible at it. I wasn't skinny enough to be a little waif and I didn't want to work out to be a beefy guy so I was always stuck between two things and so I never got any jobs."
On how his life has changed: "My life is pretty much identical to before. I don't really do that much. All I do is read books and watch movies, I’m pretty boring."

With Eclipse filming starting yesterday and Breaking Dawn officially being confirmed as a go, there's lots more Pattinson coming our way as he continues to promote the Twilight Saga with his dry humor and charm.
