Here's a post from CasaSugar Community member (and Sugar staffer!) KWM from the Su Casa group:
We have been working on decorating our dining room pretty much since we moved into our house three years ago. Last year we finally got a dining room table and chairs and then recently we added curtains and a wreath and then this weekend our china hutch finally arrived! Still to come (hopefully) is a rug and some more art for the walls, but at this rate it will probably be another year.

In my house, the washer and dryer are tucked beneath the counter at one end of the kitchen. While it's a little cramped, I'm still happy to have the laundry on the same floor. When I rented, the laundry was always in a basement or garage, and involved schlepping down at least one story to get the laundry done.

We had been using our spare room as a storage room/office for the past two years, but have now started the process of turning it into a nursery for our baby boy, due in February. Step one was to empty it out and next week we will begin painting.

When I happened upon photographs of Annika Borg's beautiful home in Skona Hem, I was bewitched by her use of color and pattern, as well as her bold mix of style. This is a home that is infinitely livable, and while it's beautiful, you can tell that Annika doesn't take herself too seriously — in the best possible way.
In particular, I adore this colorful, feminine, and fun study.

I spotted this dining room photo in Tria Giovan's portfolio, and was immediately struck by the high-intensity contrasts in color in the room. From the bright yellow and orange chairs to the hot pink and lime green chandelier, it definitely comes on strong. But is it too boldly colorful for your tastes?

This was so simple to whip up tonight. Seriously, between ironing, measuring, and sewing, it took maybe 20 minutes.

Many expectant mothers looking to customize a unique nursery for their bundle of joy will fall in love with the personalized interior design concept dreamed up by Jon Leafstedt. Moms who aren't crazy about traditional gingham crib sheets or the exorbitant price tags attached to high end yet massively produced designer bumpers will be delighted at the ability to play interior designer in the privacy of their own home.

The other day, I tweeted about the awesome sale Ikea was having on some of its fabric. We're talking 99 cents a yard here, people! That is really, really cheap.
