Kate Abney, an editor at Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles magazine, recently sent me a TwitPic of her fabulous sun room. I asked her if she'd send me a few more photos, and some background on her room and decorating style, and she graciously obliged.
Kate's apartment is on the second floor of a large, historic (1916) yellow-brick apartment building in the heart of midtown Atlanta.

Craftster member Deanna recently bought a house, and one of her first priorities was setting up a well-organized and workable craft room. She writes, "Naturally I chose the largest of the two extra rooms and started to get to work. The carpets were blue and new flooring is not in our budget right now, so I worked with them instead of against them.

The dining room is one of the most natural rooms in which to place a chandelier. In this home, the antique wood table is beautifully complemented by this glass chandelier.

Interior designer Kishani Perera designed Molly Sims's former Hollywood Hills home, and it's always been one of my favorite celebrity spreads. There's a lot going on in this corner of her living room, but since Perera cued the palette to cool blues, greens, and purples, it's not overwhelming. Her arrangement of black ornate framed mirrors really makes a statement, and the black beaded chandelier plays off of that, bringing in even more glamour.

The latest Casa Craving Challenge was inspired by the autumn season, which is when I always start hibernating a little more and delving into home projects and crafts. I know that a lot of Casa readers are also DIY kings and queens, and even though most of us will never have a separate space for our crafting madness (especially one as fabulous as Martha's), it's always nice to dream! So, in this Casa Craving Challenge, I asked you to design a funtional, cozy, and organized room for project making.

It's a bold move to choose a large checkered print for your sofa — that's a lot of pattern. But when you keep your palette otherwise simple, with just a couple other principal colors, it works! I absolutely love the daring sofa in this room.

Room & Board is cleaning shop to make room for Fall and passing on the savings to you all. At the Summer clearance event, furniture and accessories from throw pillows to sectionals have been reduced 30 to 50 percent. I'm loving this Matchstick Pillow ($69.99, reduced from $109), which I had my eye on when I toured Room & Board back in March.

This dining room, which could be yours if you have $2.45 million to spare, has great bones, but it needs a little fleshing out. How would you decorate this room?
For this week's What You're Wanting, I want to know how you'd decorate this room to highlight its architectural features while also keeping your style in play.
