Nominees for the 2009 British Fashion Awards Announced
With just a few weeks to go until the 2009 British Fashion Awards take place on December 9th, the British Fashion Council have just released a list of nominees. The awards celebrate the movers and shakers in the fashion industry from newcomers to classic brands. Last years winners included Luella (who has since lost financial support for her label) and Jourdan Dunn.

Daisy Lowe and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley partied last night at the GQ Style Burberry party in London alongside the likes of Agyness Deyn, Christopher Bailey, and Tamsin Egerton. Daisy nodded to the opulence trend with a bright coloured blazer and clutch. She attended with ex-boyfriend and Burberry ad campaign star Will Cameron who matched Daisy's bright coloured tuxedo jacket with his green shiny blazer.

London was awash with glamourous gowns last night at the Saatchi Gallery, where editor of British Vogue Alexandra Shulman held a party in honour of Gucci's creative director Frida Giannini. VV Brown went short and bright and Sophie Dahl kept in classic in an LBD and leopard print pumps, while those Geldof sisters Pixie and Peaches matched in full-length maroon frocks. Peaches left her lilac lipstick at home as she wore a more demure outfit than we're used to, but she'll soon be stripping down to her lingerie as she's been offered a six-figure deal by Michelle Mone to be the face of the new Miss Ultimo range launching in May.
