Hollywood Ladies Come Out to Support GQ's Men of the Year

The Chateau Marmont hosted GQ's Men of the Year Awards last night in LA. A few of the magazine's honorees, including Zach Galifianakis, Tom Ford, and Neil Patrick Harris joined forces with starlets like Olivia Wilde and AnnaLynne McCord. January Jones hit the carpet alongside Dexter's Jennifer Carpenter as Alexander Skarsgard, who won a "Man Who Saved HBO" award, went from LAX to the bash - click here to check out the full list of winners.

Alexander stayed close to rumored girlfriend Kate Bosworth, despite recent reports of her being linked to other guys. Sarah Silverman, meanwhile, was there to keep Zach company as his fellow funny man Russell Brand took a night off from romancing Katy Perry to mingle with Quentin Tarantino. Lindsay Lohan also turned up for the event while drama with her father seems to finally be cooling off.

Russell and Katy Get Romantic on Their Cinema Date

Russell Brand and Katy Perry looked happy together as they went out on a date in LA yesterday. The cute couple headed to the cinema to catch a film, Russell's arm was wrapped around Katy's shoulders as they walked together, and she looked super happy as they shared a joke inside the building! Katy's West Ham basque at the MTV EMAs this year has certainly made an impression - she sported the outfit in honour of Russell's support of the team, and now they're going to sell a limited edition run of replicas! Never fear though, Russell might be in love but he's not moving to America permanently any time soon - he put a stop to those rumours at his DVD Q&A session in London on Monday!

Russell Ponders Reducing His Barnet, Katy Keeps Things Quiet

Russell Brand was spotted out in London in his workout gear today, showing his legs off in shorts and socks! For his upcoming role in a remake of Arthur, Russell looks set to chop his famed locks, but he's taking it in his stride, saying: “You have to move on. I have dreams of my hair being short and I wake up in a Samson-like panic, but I think I’m ready for transformation.” Meanwhile MTV EMAs host Katy Perry has been coy about their fledgling relationship today, saying:

"The wonderful thing is we both have our own kind of separate talents, careers and lives and we really respect each other. I think that's really important... (But) we like to kind of keep this as our special thing."

I was lucky enough to see Russell perform a small warmup gig for his Royal Albert Hall show this weekend in Islington earlier this week and when an audience member mentioned her name, he said something very similar. Adorable!

Noel and Russell Celebrate With Award Winner Jonathan

Jonathan Ross was presented with a Music Industry Trusts' award by George Michael last night, for his "hugely influential exposure for new artists". There was a video tribute shown at the event too, where stars like Will Smith, Sir Tom Jones, Cheryl Cole and U2 sent messages and thanks to Jonathan. The man himself called the award itself "shoddy", but got serious when he said, ''But it's what it represents... and I'm touched and I don't feel worthy.''

Jonathan was joined by his wife Jane Goldman, Stereophonics singer Kelly Jones, Noel Gallagher, and his fellow troublemaker Russell Brand. Russell's been spending a lot of time in LA with Katy Perry lately, but is back in the UK for some stand up gigs and last night's award ceremony, where he said of Jonathan:

"They can't give that man enough awards. When will Pulitzer acknowledge him and those fools from Nobel? His musical knowledge is very diverse, he knows about everything. He's an encyclopaedia of a man, without having to go door-to-door selling.''

Russell Kisses Katy and Talks About Romance and Kids

Russell Brand was out in LA with Katy Perry over the weekend, kissing her in her car as she dropped him off. The cute couple have been spending a lot of time together lately, and with Katy Europe-bound for the MTV EMAs this week, and Russell in London for a gig tomorrow night it looks like they'll be stealing some moments together over here too! In an interview with the Sunday Times published this weekend, Russell spoke a little about how Katy's changing his life, here's some extracts from his fascinating interview:

On how his life is changing: "I am living in a different way at the moment. Regardless of what happens in my current situation, I am unlikely to be satisfied with the calamitous promiscuity of the preceding five or six years."
On wanting to slow down and feeling broody: "I am [feeling broody], actually. It's seven years since I took drugs. I've made a film. I don't think I have to fight so much. I've grown weary of the carousel... I am more into having jaunts. It's been a while since I've done terrible things like shoplifted or threw a phone..."
On his relationships with women: "I am an only child of a single mother - it probably meant that I'm demanding and have high expectations of women. I look for salvation and redemption, to be utterly embraced.... I don't think you can find it in another human being. It's a ridiculous, romantic and tragic idea that there's someone who's going to save you, that we need our own personal Jesus. Salvation comes from within."

Russell and Katy Relax in LA After Birthday Bonanza

Russell Brand and Katy Perry spent their day out in LA together yesterday, stopping on their drive to pick up drinks and filling up their car with petrol. After Katy's messy 25th birthday party at the weekend the two looked like they were enjoying some mellow time out in the sunshine, wearing shades and walking with their arms around each other. Russell and Taylor Help Creative Katy Celebrate Her 25th

Katy Perry got creative with Oompa Loompa nails for her 25th birthday bash at Sunset Beach in Hollywood on Saturday night. All the guests, including Taylor Swift, wore white but left with mutlicoloured outfits as the celebrations involved paint-splatting and cake fights! Katy's beau Russell Brand joined in the fun, and the couple are getting even more serious, as they are reportedly house hunting together for a place to rent in the Hollywood Hills. Russell has also apparently invited Katy to spend Christmas with his family in London, while she hired a plane to skywrite "I Love You" over Russell's LA home. She still finds time for fun without Russell, however, going to a Mika concert on Friday and working out on Melrose Avenue in the day.

Russell Brand Ventures Out in LA Without His Love

Russell Brand was out in LA yesterday, eating at the Viper Room with friends - but not his girlfriend Katy Perry. The adorable pics of the couple kissing from the weekend have left me wanting more - who'd have thought that Katy would be the one to tame Russell, at least for now! The Road to Russell Brand: Skinned is the working title of an upcoming documentary about our wild haired Brit comedian, which Frank Skinner will present and it will begin the story in early 2009 as Russell began an international tour that kicked off at the O2 in London. It will air on Channel 4 this winter - I wonder if we'll spy any early peeks of him and Katy?
