Check out the newest phone in the Ann series collection introduced by South Korea's Korea Telecom - the Ann Sweety.

This cool blue phone from Samsung functions as both a cordless telephone and as a remote for your TV, DVD and other electronic gadgets. This triple threat phone can also send SMS messages! I'm sure we'll be seeing something like this introduced in the U.S very soon.

Gold-Plated TV's Pricetag: $132,000

When it comes to luxury gadgets, there are some splurges I wholeheartedly understand, and others I will never, ever get. Samsung and LG have long been in a battle over who will make the largest TV, with Samsung currently winning out with a 102-inch model. LG on the other hand, is holding its ground with a 71-incher that comes plated with genuine gold. It is simply beyond me why even the most wealthy geek in the world would find this necessary, but I'll indulge your curiosity anyway.

In fact, there are more than 4 pounds of 24-Karat gold on the model, which also features full HD (1920 x 1080), and an impressive 600W home cinema system for surround sound and integrated display facilities for viewing digital photos and MP3 track playback.

The gold version costs a whopping $132,000, which in some parts of the county, is the median home price. I suppose the makers aren't completely insane, as they only made 1,000 units. For another picture, just read more

Would You Watch Broadcast TV on Your Cell Phone?

Local TV stations may soon have the ability to broadcast live TV straight to your cell phone. Unlike YouTube, the service won't be on-demand. Instead, you'll be able to tune into live local television on your phone while stations will be able to offer both free and paid channels. Obviously, the technology won't work on existing mobile phones, but LG, Samsung, and Dell have already released prototype devices. And it's about time - this technology is already a huge hit in Japan!

With services like DVR and TV on-demand changing, this technology might breathe new life into broadcast TV. Would you buy a new gadget and use this service?

With a tag line like that, how could I not be curious about the new Samsung Ultra Touch cell phone?! Granted it's my pal geeksugar who could say whether this phone's worth owning or not, but lemme tell you it gets five full bars of my cuteness signal.

If all those adoro animals are included, I'm thinking it may be time for my upgrade!

Upper East Side Upgrade: Serena Got Another New Cell Phone!

I recently highlighted Serena's brand-new cell phone for this season, the black LG Venus. But it looks like you just gotta give this girl a couple of episodes, and she's down at the Verizon store, upgrading that thing. Maybe she was taking a cue from Blair, who carries a maroon LG eNV2, and likes adding color to her wardrobe - the new cell is cherry red.

That's not all that's saucy about it; it's the Samsung FlipShot ($170 after discounts), which boasts a 3-megapixel camera (the iPhone's is 2-megapixels) - my fave feature. You can also record video and give black and white effects to your cameraphone photos with the FlipShot - maybe she's trying to be more arty like her new beau?

On that note, do you think Serena upgraded or downgraded (I meant about the phones, but opinions about the old vs. new boyfriend are certainly welcome too)?!

The addiction to their cell phones is a defining characteristic of the Upper East Side teens on Gossip Girl. Despite their inclination to stick to a certain provider, Blair, Serena, and the gang are still somewhat picky about their cell phones - they want them to match their clothes. Yes, these girls love to rock the rainbow-hued phone - there's plenty of black and silver phones on the show as well, but you won't find those in my slideshow - just color, color, color.
