London Fashion Week, Spring 2010: Twenty8Twelve

There has been a lot of hype surrounding the Twenty8Twelve catwalk shows since they began last season. Spring 2010 was no exception with an impressive front row boasting Anna Wintour, Alexa Chung (maybe she scored herself a future Vogue cover?), Pixie and Peaches Geldof and Leigh Lezark. Much like Topshop Unique, the soundtrack to this show was early '90s grunge and this was definitely reflected on the catwalk. The official inspiration list was pretty vast from modern artists like Willem de Kooning, to African street style photographs to the deep South. There were short shorts and crop tops revealing bare midriffs. Faded denim and scarves through the hair added to the all American vibe. Sienna literally jetted off after the show to make it to Broadway on time – what a commute!

Sienna Hops Across the Pond For Twenty8Twelve at LFW

Kate Moss led the partying for London Fashion Week over the weekend, but yesterday it was Sienna Miller's turn to shine. Sienna headed home to England after debuting her Broadway play After Miss Julie on Saturday in order to be there for her Twenty8Twelve show. She joined her sister Savannah and a canine companion for photos before the presentation, which brought out heavy hitters like Anna Wintour. Sienna and Anna are buddy-buddy after their work together promoting The September Issue, so perhaps the Miller sisters can look forward to some upcoming support in the pages of Vogue.

Victoria, Sienna, Alexa Enjoy a Fashionable Night Out in NYC

The beautiful people flocked to the many events held in New York City yesterday in honour of Fashion's Night Out. Our fellow Brits rubbed shoulders with the American stars in attendance, as well as my girl PopSugar US, who was tweeting throughout the evening! Victoria Beckham wore a Giles mini dress and thigh high boots for the Bergdorf Goodman celebration: FabUK wants to know do you love or hate her look? Over at Intermix, Vogue UK's cover star Sienna Miller took time out from After Miss Julie rehearsals to party with her sister Savannah and woman of the night Anna Wintour, while Alexa Chung took to the decks at Miu Miu.

Sienna Brings Her Sister And Box Office Credibility to Japan

Sienna Miller and her GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra costars are continuing to take their film around the world, attending the movie's Japan premiere in Tokyo yesterday. While Channing Tatum took his wife Jenna Dewan as his premiere buddy, Sienna walked the red carpet with her sister, Savannah, wearing a Gucci leopard sequin suit: do you love it or hate it? Sienna's hoping GI Joe will help raise her box office credibility, having told Nylon:

"It’s really exciting to be in a film that people actually want to go and see! I was having to pay people to see my movies!... certain really great directors have wanted to do films with me, but unless you’ve had a film that’s opened with a certain amount of money, you’re not bankable to studios… if you want to make amazing, artistic films, you’ve got to have some sort of box office credibility, which I don’t have."

Will You Wear A Side Ponytail This Summer?

I know that history repeats itself, I just never honestly thought I'd see the return of the high, side ponytail so soon. However, it looks like the 1980's has come calling to London and stylistas like Peaches Geldof and Savannah Miller (who wore this fashionable hairstyle to the Matthew Williamson for H&M Launch) have jumped on board the trend. Tell me, will you revisit your childhood look this Spring and Summer and dare to wear a high side ponytail?

On Our Radar: Twenty8Twelve to Show at LFW Again

Late last year Twenty8Twelve announced plans to show at London Fashion Week. Their show in February went on to be well received with a star studded front row. No surprise then that today they revealed they will show again next season, in September.

The two Miller sisters have not begun work on their Spring 2010 collection just yet, but they will be working with shoe designer Georgina Goodman again who created their shoes for Autumn '09.

Earlier this week Sienna attended an awards party doing a spot of self promotion in a Twenty8Twelve zip jacket. I can't wait to see what they come up with for next Spring/Summer! Let's hope they don't upset the locals this time.

Stylish People Head to London For Even More Fashion Fun

New York Fashion Week wrapped up last Friday, but the shows continued in London over the weekend. Kanye West and his girl Amber Rose crossed the ocean to observe things from the front row, starting with Vivienne Westwood's Red Label on Saturday and Richard Nicoll on Sunday. Earlier today, Kanye and Amber were up early to check out Luella alongside the father of Kate Moss's daughter, Jefferson Hack. Sienna Miller and her sister Savannah presented their twenty8twelve collection on Sunday, heading to the Whiskey Mist club afterward to celebrate their success with The Killers' Brandon Flowers and their parents Ed and Jo. London Fashion Week A/W 2009: Twenty8Twelve

Sienna and Savannah Miller's Twenty8Twelve show has been a highly anticipated event at London Fashion Week. It had a star-studded front row so far with designer pal Matthew Williamson proudly watching his longtime fans take their turn in the limelight. The clothing was wearable in a London chic way, with plenty of denim, cropped jackets, and rock chick style.

There were a few thigh-skimming minidresses in eye-catching colours, but otherwise, the girls relied on a dark colour palette and remained true to Sienna's own individual style. From leather jackets to dark hot pants, you can imagine seeing Sienna in any of these catwalk ensembles, either on the streets of London or at a party.

The collection wasn't ground breaking by any means, but it contained important day-to-night separates. Savannah explained, "is the way women today really dress." Although this is a celebrity clothing range, Savannah was actually trained at Central Saint Martins and the collection reveals her fashion knowledge mixed with good business sense, which goes to show that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

Sienna and Her Sister Continue the Shopping Spree

Sienna Miller embarked on day two of her shopping tour of London yesterday, though this time she brought her sister Savannah and a pal along for the trip. She was flaunting her Style Icon status in a pair of Kate Bosworth-approved red Chloe ankle boots as her trio made their way between stores. Life isn't all about hitting boutiques for Sienna, as she just participated in a charity photo shoot to benefit UNICEF. It's a way to combine her love for both fashion and philanthropy, and she could use a little damage control after the whole Balthazar fiasco.
