This week I felt like Grey's Anatomy is finally getting back on track. The episode has a very sad central focus, as Arizona faces the inevitable loss of a young patient, but was nicely rounded out with the usual relationship issues, comic relief, and a few sweet moments.

Russell Brand was out in LA with Katy Perry over the weekend, kissing her in her car as she dropped him off. The cute couple have been spending a lot of time together lately, and with Katy Europe-bound for the MTV EMAs this week, and Russell in London for a gig tomorrow night it looks like they'll be stealing some moments together over here too! In an interview with the Sunday Times published this weekend, Russell spoke a little about how Katy's changing his life, here's some extracts from his fascinating interview:
- On how his life is changing: "I am living in a different way at the moment.

This week's opening of The Office isn't necessarily a huge spooky surprise since we already got a peek at those costumed spoiler photos, but I still laughed through every minute of the intro. Jim's "Bookface" costume? A-ma-zing.

You can choose your friends, but you can't choose your family. This fact of life means that many of us put up with people we might not otherwise get along with.
Yesterday's New York Times examined what happens when certain family members, namely parents, cross the line from imperfect to completely intolerable.

An article in The Huffington Post yesterday discusses a survey called Sex and the American Mom, completed by 30,000 people, which concluded that 34 percent of married women with children have had or are currently having an affair. The article examines some of the differences in past years versus the present regarding female satisfaction, male sexual disinterest, and the way society views cheating. It writes:
Affairs used to almost guarantee a trip to divorce court.

This week's House continued to stick to the tried-and-true show recipe, and our favorite doctor was there pulling the strings — even if he isn't technically in charge. The episode answered one or two of my previous questions, and while the writers quickly tied up the dilemma involving last week's death of the dictator (breathe a collected sigh of relief), I highly doubt that Chase and Foreman's shared secret is just going to be swept under the rug for good.
I'm curious to see how everything plays out, but for now, take a look at my questions (some spoilers!) from this week's episode and share your thoughts when you read more

Everyone loves a vacation, right? Beautiful scenery, tropical drinks, fun in the sun. Add a few of your closest friends and you could have the trip of a lifetime — or a romantic getaway gone horribly awry.

After an entire Summer without House, you can believe I was ready for last night’s two-hour premiere. With House checked in to an asylum, we knew season six was taking us in to new territory.
From the start they let us know that this was not your typical episode.

Mary Pols's Accidentally on Purpose made me laugh, cry, and relate. I rooted for the 39-year-old film critic and her baby daddy, Matt, as I read the author's witty account of her unplanned journey into motherhood. Considering the book to be the mama of all pregnancy must reads, I even gifted it to several expecting friends.

First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes baby in the baby carriage. But what happens when the hula dance is over and times get rough, is it time for a child or another baby? Some couples reason that an addition will bring them closer and tighten existing bonds.
