Last Night's Lost

Lost was back on its game last night. I love the episodes around Jack, Kate and Sawyer. While the flashback was a little predictable I guess they needed to remind us that Sawyer will con just about anyone. At the same time he gave all that money to his baby so it's easy to keep liking him. Well, that and he's gorgeous (especially with his hair pulled back all pretty in the prison flashback).

His relationship with Kate is continuing to thicken. I still can't really tell if they are in love or not. He seemed mighty disappointed when she told him she just said she loved him so Pickett would stop hitting him. But then she stayed with him when she could have escaped so she was obviously lying. The other thing that is bothering me is why the Others chose the three of them. Jack we found out last night- they need him to do spinal surgery on someone - Ben I'm guessing. But what about Kate and Sawyer? My guess is they are trying to get Sawyer to become one of them. Kate is probably there as a bartering tool for both of the boys since they both love her so much. That or Juliet will do some weird fertility experiment on her and then steal her baby. What is with the baby stealing?

The end also was crazy. How did they not see that other island? Well, I hope we find out more in the next two episodes because after that Lost is going on a 13 episode hiatus. I know - how will we survive waiting so long for the show to return. Luckily ABC has hooked us up with sweet Taye Diggs in Day Break.

Lost Heats Up While Ratings Drop Down

Lost is back in full swing in last night's second episode and as usual, we are more confused than ever. While we are totally sucked back in, evidently some of you don't agree because the ratings have dipped since the first two seasons. However, the show still has over 16 million viewers and is the top watched show in its time slot so I'm not too worried.

In last night's episode we finally got another story about Sun and Jin and learned more about their past. Specifically, that Sun isn't such a good girl after all. I mean we already knew she had had an affair, but we also saw a new side of her that can be very deceitful.

Plus, I was totally shocked when she shot one of the Others. That isn't the Sun we know (still I don't hold that against her, she didn't have a choice). Also, did anyone else notice that Jae was holding the pearl necklace that he gave Sun after he fell (or was pushed) out the window to his death? What does that mean?

I would continue to obsess over it but I have to move on to Sawyer and Kate. OK, he's had 69 days to kiss Kate and he chooses the time when they are on a chain gang and being threatened with electrocution to make his move? Oh, well, it was still a great kiss. And it also makes us realize how much Sawyer cares for her to risk his life like that. Of course, he made it seem like he was just kissing her as a strategic maneuver to learn more about the Others.

I really wanted Kate to get together with Jack, but we knew Kate and Sawyer were going to heat up at some point. As for poor Jack, well at least he knows who won the World Series now. The Boston Red Sox winning the World Series as a shocker never gets old. Well, I'm sure next week will be filled with more surprises. That's why I keep watching! And so should you!

Fall TV Preview: Lost

It's here! It's here! I am crazy about Lost and can't wait to see what happens to Jack, Kate and the rest of the gang this season. In fact, I have headed to Hawaii just to celebrate and fully immerse myself before the premiere of one of our favorite shows.

What is in store for this season? What will happen now that Jack, Kate and Sawyer have been handed over to The Others thanks to Michael who is still doing everything in his power to get back Walt? Will Hurley make it back from The Others to the survivors all by himself? What happened to Desmond, Locke and Eko and the hatch? Is that story line killed now and what about the key that Desmond turned? Will Charlie and Claire finally get it on? Who will Kate choose? Word is it's Sawyer. Will Sun be having Jin's baby? We know she is pregnant, but we thought he was impotent. So many questions - let's hope we get more answers soon. Here is a little insight on tonight's episode from co-creator J.J. Abrams: ''The way it begins is my favorite kind of thing - it's the last thing you'll ever expect.''

Oh Man: "Lost" Star Josh Holloway Is Cool (Water)

A few weeks ago, I told you about a new women's fragrance called Davidoff Cool Water Wave, which features beach-sports babe Gabrielle Reece in its ads. Now, perfume maker Coty Inc. has found an equally hot dude as the new face of its men's fragrance.

According to Women's Wear Daily, "Lost" star Josh Holloway will star in ads for Davidoff Cool Water worldwide - except in North America, where Reece's husband, surfer Laird Hamilton, is the brand's main model. Holloway's campaign, including print ads and TV spots, will begin rolling out this summer.

Holloway, who plays the character of Sawyer, lives in Hawaii, where "Lost" is filmed and where the Cool Water campaign was shot.

The actor told WWD he recently starting wearing Cool Water again after not using it for several years:

“My wife’s got a crush on me again,” he said, smiling. Holloway added he’d be open to working on his own line of products, if the opportunity arose.

“But it would probably not be as elegant as Cool Water,” he joked. “It’d be more like Man Juice.”

I could make an inappropriate comment here, but I won't. Instead, I'll just say that whatever fragrance Holloway is selling, I'll enjoy looking at the ads.

Josh Lost His Razor, But Not His Dimples

Josh Holloway's swoon-inducing dimples were mostly hidden under his scruffy face in Hawaii shooting Lost over the weekend. As a recent convert to the show (spending all summer catching up), I will say that he is one of the few people who can totally carry off a gruff exterior like this and still be pretty dreamy. It's probably wishful thinking, but fingers crossed he cleans up and joins his nominated co-stars on the Emmy red carpet this Sunday? That would be nice, but even without a little Sawyer the big event is going to be tons of fun. Don't forget to fill out your Emmy Ballot to win free cable or satellite TV for a year!

A Possible Lost Spoiler!

What's up with these pictures of Evangeline Lilly in a wedding dress? Did she and Dominic decide to have an early wedding? We thought they weren't planning on getting married until next summer. From the looks of it, she's probably shooting a scene for Lost and the possibilities are endless. Is Kate being forced to marry someone, perhaps Sawyer or one of the Others? Or is this a flashback for Kate to a happier time? She obviously has to kiss someone in the scene because she's brushing her teeth! I wonder if it's going to be Jack this time! Either way, she sure makes a beautiful bride!

Now that we know The Others have television and live like suburbanites, does that mean Kate will have a Blackberry in her future? It sure would make island life a lot easier! For more pics of Evangeline in her white wedding dress, read more

Lost & Found

Sorry for my lack of TV reviews but things will hopefully return to normal soon. As for last nights LOST, it was all about Jin and Sun. I have a thing for Sun since last season she was like a superhero with a remedy for everything. I enjoyed watching her flashback as to how she meet the man of her dreams.

I don't want to ruin it for those who have not watched yet so read more

Overall I did not feel much happened last night. Were the number even mentioned once? No visual of the hatch - we hope they remember to push the button every 108 minutes.

We did learn that Walt is still alive and with the creepy Others. But were those legs really Walt's? Rumors are running wild that the producers had to cut his season short since the real actor is going through a growth spurt so his screen time is limited this season. Of course the producers are denying this and said he will be back this season - just not as a main character like last season.

Other then that and Sun finding her ring - nothing happened. Hopefully, Michael and Jin will eventually make there way back to the rest of the gang with Walt. And let's hope Sawyer also makes it back. So after a slow episode they tease us with an upcoming death. Any guesses?

The OC Tonight

I'm so psyched to watch tonight because we find out that Summer is like, some genius. We will continue to watch the gang prepare for college and whether they will stay on the east or west coast.

Last weeks episode shocked me in so many ways. There was the obvious of Julie headed back to the trailer park. I'm sure she won't last long there or she will start sleeping with the Sawyer from Lost/Kid Rock look alike.

Then Taylor was actually sort of likable, sweet and dare I say cutesy.

And finally - who the hell expected this to happen. Damn. I was totally taken back when Johnny got smacked by the car.

As always, TV Gasm has the fabulously long yet comprehensive review.

As for the Reunion fans, sorry kids, but we are getting ready to watch one of the the last episodes tonight. FOX has decided to cancel the show and won't even finish the rest of the season since it will take too much money to produce. The mystery is so complex that they can't wrap it up in one show for us. Hopefully they will post an ending for us online somewhere so we are not totally left hanging.

Must Read This article from the LA Times. There was a Lost convention and spoilers were revealed for next season... a few are:

The rear section of the plane â€” and additional survivors â€” will be discovered during the second season. (I guess this is where Michelle Rodriguez has been)

The people who kidnapped Walt, the young boy, are the "others" on the island.

Yes, Sawyer was shot, but he will be back next season with, "his shirt will be off in ...And he'll be wet"
