How Much Is Too Much When It Comes to Shredded Jeans?

Seeing Audrina Patridge's crazily shredded jeans made me wonder: how much is too much when it comes to shredded jeans? Surely everyone has their limits. Since I'm not into the overly '80s thing, mine is three medium-sized shreds, max. I don't like my denim too brash. I'm curious, what's your limit when it comes to shredded jeans?

Look of the Day: Menswear Maven

Personally, I heart the whole unisex trend, and so does davida10. She looks like a menswear maven in her white button-up shirt and tan oxfords. Pairing it with a short skirt adds femme factor, and I'm enraptured by her gold charm necklace. Go you!

Every time I peruse Shopbop, I end up with a cart-full of amazing items. Can I afford them all? By no means, but that doesn't stop me from obsessing. The retailer has stocked a staggering amount of cold-weather gear to keep us cozy and ahead of the fashion game come Fall. I'll give you a few hints about my favorites: studs, sequins, lace, leather, mixed metals, red, and bows. This Catherine Malandrino Gramercy Jacket ($795) is one I'd like to get out of my cart and into my hands ASAP. The fusion of leather and lace, and that delicately draped front, is divine.

Look Book Love: Shopbop's Venice Beach Style

No trip to LA is ever complete without a bike cruise through Venice Beach. Shopbop knows this, too. Its latest Look Book was inspired by the Shopbop fashion director's last trip - see for yourself, she blogged all about it. Where there is V Beach, there is inspiration, albeit gritty surf/skate inspiration. Righteous, bra. The Look Book is pumped full of white, black, and gray, with shots of neon orange. Distressed jeans, zippers, leather, fringe, sporty knits, and lots of attitude tell the rebellious story.

Fab Blab: Nicole Richie Chats House of Harlow With Shopbop

House of Harlow continues to be a big priority in Nicole Richie's life these days. The gorgeous mommy recently opened up to Shopbop about the line and when she knew she wanted to be a designer: "I always loved jewelry, and when I was young I made friendship bracelets for my friends. I guess you could say my designing started then." She also served as model for her Look Book.

Nicole recently told Sugar she draws inspiration from the '60s and '70s, but there is one specific person who inspired her earlier on: "When I was a little girl, my father's costume designer for his tour made me outfits that matched his. I would watch her make sketches and even went to her studio to watch her make costumes." Cute! Read the complete interview.

I'm a sucker for fringe. Bags, shoes, skirts, tops, jewels - the fringier, the better. Well, that's what I thought until I saw this Kiki de Montparnasse Fringe Benefits Necklace ($595). Whoa, it has the longest fringes I've ever seen. I wonder if it's heavy. The concept of a fringe necklace is cool, but I'm wondering if the delivery looks more like chest hair than a necklace.
