We used to do a worst dressed post every day but then we decided they should be saved for only total fashion disasters like this. Debra Messing may have been looking for a way to stay cool during the heat in NYC but this outfit is all wrong. Let's start out with the obvious - Debra should be wearing a bra. Also, any mother should know, onesies are not for adults. This outfit is so unflattering for Debra and even though she's just casually shopping you can tell she tried since those gladiator sandals probably took a long time to get on.

Natalie Sports Some Side Boob

The always adorable Natalie Portman took a day off from her usual girl-next-door image in a sexy little halter number at a benefit in NYC. The event was held at 7 World Trade Center and honored Bjork, who was actually dressed less controversially than usual, but still managed to stay quirky. We just can't get over how hot Natalie looks! We're not sure what her arm band-aids are about - perhaps she needed some shots for another trip out of the country?

Favorite Three Subsequent Pregnancy Maternity Must Haves

Each pregnancy is different - the first time around, I paged through week-by-week books. The second was spent researching baby brands. This time, I've got a few favorite products that are practical and more mama focused. I'd recommend them to anyone who is expecting, it just took me this long to discover the goodies!

Body Bare Full Coverage Bra ($30). While boobs swell during a first pregnancy, they enter the Dolly Parton phase early during a third. This comfortable bra gives my chest the lift it needs after nursing two babies and is seamless under shirts.

Mama Mio Tummy Rub ($35). I don't know if I can repair the damage that has already been done, but I'll do my best to keep more stretch lines from appearing on my burgeoning belly. The paraben free rosehip, wheatgerm and borage oil potion smells incredible and isn't oily at all.

Ingrid and Isabel Belly Leggings ($52). These snug fitting, super soft pants may be a bit on the pricey side, but they support your stomach and allow you to stay in your dresses even once your stomach takes up the hem. And, paired with a tunic or sweater, they allow you to breathe!

Lactation Consultants Lead Babies to Mother's Milk

Expectant mamas planning on nursing their newborn straight out of the womb are often surprised by the task - especially first time mothers. Some lucky mamas may slip into a nice natural groove while others, like myself, find themselves tortured by the pain. After a few agitated days of breastfeeding, I buckled under pressure and sought out a lactation consultant to advise me on my practices.

We shook hands and introduced ourselves as any strangers might do in a work place. But then we quickly got down to business. She asked me the details of my daughter's nursing habits - when, how long, what position and which sides, etc. To judge for herself, she asked me to put my daughter on the breast. In her small office, I sat in the most upright position with a nursing stool, a Brest Friend wrapped around my waist, and fed my newborn as my husband, mom and lactation consultant looked on.

Quickly she pressed my infant's face harder onto the boob leaving her little room to pull off. After a few minutes of purveying the situation, the consultant scribbled a page worth of notes, handed me a pack of Lily Padz for my ailing tatas and weighed my baby. Almost instantly, she had the answer to my problem. After about 30 minutes of counseling, I thanked her and offered her a hug as if I had known her my whole life. I guess baring my breasts to a total stranger has that effect on me. But more than that, I wanted her to know how much I appreciated her helping me along the path to successful and (less) painless breastfeeding.

Why Didn't Anybody Tell Me? Mastitis

In my days of baby preparation, I read tons of pregnancy books to soak up as much information as possible. Most of the texts offered up a small section dedicated to mastitis. Seemingly not that common, I skimmed over it and didn't pay much attention to the subject.

Ten days into motherhood, my mom, newborn, and I went on a beach walk on a heaven–sent sunny day. About a third of the way into the jaunt I was so achy, tired, and ill feeling that I had to rest my laurels. I assumed I was still lethargic from the labor and delivery, but it was actually the beginning of something much worse.

Early the next morning, I woke up with a fever and mad chills. Still clueless, I thought my night sweating may have been the cause so I robotically went into the nursery and fed my child as I shook uncontrollably. Then I knew something was wrong.

My husband called his mum who suggested I might have mastitis. I shook my head and vehemently denied the possibility. The books all said mastitis would be excruciatingly painful and show itself in a red blotchy manner on my breast, which was not happening.

But as I did my online research I learned I might be wrong. WebMD explains mastitis:

Mastitis usually starts as a painful area in one breast. It may be red or warm to the touch, or both. You may also have fever, chills, and body aches. If you have these symptoms, call your doctor today.

Admittedly I had the flu–like symptoms but was still in denial since my chest still felt and looked normal. To be safe, my husband and I went to triage that night where I was diagnosed and treated for mastitis. The docs gave me a prescription for antibiotics and told me to nurse my way through the pain. I kid you not!

Breastfeeding is tough enough, but add a hard swollen boob, fever, chills, and aches to it and you've got a first-rate nightmare on your hands. And so it was. The worst part about it was that the antibiotics could not be taken two hours before or after eating, which meant my eating periods were laid out for me, which as any new mom knows, you eat when you can, not when you plan on it. To help the growing boob pain, I walked around with frozen peas and corn in my bra. Classy. Very classy.

But alas, I survived to tell about it. And when I told people I had it, I quickly found out how very common it is. I'd say that half of all moms I know toughed their way through it - some multiple times!

If you're pregnant and planning on nursing, take measures to avoid getting the beastly ailment. Here are some tips from WebMD:

Before breastfeeding your baby, place a warm, wet washcloth over the affected breast for about 15 minutes. Try this at least 3 times a day. This increases milk flow in the breast. Massaging the affected breast may also increase milk flow.
If possible, continue breast-feeding on both sides. Ideally, start on the affected side; it's critical that you empty this breast thoroughly. If this breast is too painful to start with, try feeding from the healthy breast first. Then, after your milk is flowing, breast-feed from the affected breast until it feels soft. Switch back to the healthy breast and breast-feed until your baby has finished.
Pump or express milk from the affected breast if pain prevents you from breast-feeding. Nipple pain can be caused by the baby latching on to sore nipples.

Now it's no secret that celebrities and models like to binge on the botox, to keep their faces looking super-smooth – some will even admit to it. But now, it seems that brides-to-be are booking botox en masse – for all their bridesmaids!

According to the New York Times, this new trend comes partly from women getting married older, partly because of the popularity of posting all the bridal pics straight up on Facebook – for everyone to see – and also just because having botox is increasingly becoming seen as a normal part of a beauty regime – at least on the American side of the pond.

Now I'm very much on the fence where botox is concerned – I think it's entirely a matter of personal judgement, but I do believe that if every other girl in the bridal party was getting 'a little something done' then it would be hard to resist the pressure, even if it was something you didn't want to do. One girl interviewed in the New York Times article, was even tried to be forced into getting a boob job – so that all the bridesmaids had the same cleavage.

I went to a wedding last weekend, and all four of the bridesmaids were different shapes and sizes – the youngest was seventeen, and the oldest thirty-four, and they all looked beautiful. It didn't matter that they weren't cookie-cutter matching, they looked pretty and radiant in their own skin – and most importantly, happy to be there for the bride. So, beauty isn't really that skin-deep, after all?

You Asked: How Do I Keep My Cleavage and Not the Pounds?

I've just started working out and I have a few friends who totally lost their boobs after they lost weight. I know this is totally vain of me, but I kind of like my bra size now. Is there anything I can do so that I don't drop cup sizes as I'm hopefully dropping the pounds?"

This question is great on so many levels and while I have never had the joy of being well-endowed, I do understand your concern completely. To see what I have to say on this matter read more.

I wish I had better news for you but here is the truth: Just like you can't spot reduce areas on your body, you also can't spot save either. In other words, the body doesn't let you pick and choose which parts you lose the fat from. (If that were the case, my thighs and cleavage would be glorious.) In fact, where your body chooses to draw fat from for fuel generally depends on genetics. Try and look on the bright side; while you can't keep the pounds from leaving your chest, you can keep it looking toned by adding a few strength moves into your gym routine. I recommend moves that work your pecs such as push ups, planks, chest presses, and flies.
