This Just In: Simon Cowell's Girlfriend Buys in LA

British television presenter and actress Terri Seymour, better known as the girlfriend of Simon Cowell, recently purchased a one-story, 3,194-square-foot house in the Hollywood Hills for $4.6 million, according to Big Time. The house is an impressive, four-bedroom, three-bath 1961 ranch, recently remodeled and ultramodern in style. According to the property listing, the "home boasts extensive city views as well as a beautifully manicured backyard and an expansive pool ready to entertain," and "a spacious chef's kitchen as well as a formal living room and family room." A recent British news article suggests that Cowell is sharing the home with Seymour, while he builds a mammoth, 8,000-square-foot, $8 million mansion in Beverly Hills. Sounds like Cowell may be the true winner here . . .

Cheating Simon Confronted By Terri

This morning we reported how Simon Cowell was caught cheating on his long time girlfriend, Terri Seymour. He was busted big time and now a very pissed off and probably heartbroken Terri has run to London to figure this mess out. In Touch Reports:

Acid-tongued America Idol judge Simon Cowell got a taste of his own medicine when he was reunited with his girlfriend, Terri Seymour, in London following revelations he had a tryst with model Jasmine Lennard. According to reports, the 46-year-old TV star has been having a six-month affair with 21-year-old Jasmine.

Upset over the news, his girlfriend of four years, Terri, 32, immediately flew from LA to London to confront Simon, who picked her up in his Phantom Rolls Royce.

"Terri is irate at the whole situation," a pal of Simon's reveals. A stony-faced Terri, who is a correspondent for Extra!, arrived at Terminal 4 at Heathrow Airport on July 27 and met Simon in the airport's Starbucks.
A friend of Simon's tells In Touch, "It's unusual for Simon to pick her up personally from the airport - he usually goes everywhere by chauffeur but decided this time he needed to."

"They didn't kiss each other when Terri arrived and she was very stand-offish," the pal continues. "They were arguing in the coffee shop and Terri looked close to tears."

The couple then headed to Simon's West London home to talk further.

Now, rumor has it that Simon gave Terri almost $9 million as a goodbye present, five of which was just in cash and the other four towards a Beverly Hills home. While this is more than generous, it might seem as if he is paying her as thanks for all their years together. So, what do you think of Simon's final gift to Terri - sweet or creepy?

Simon Cowell went shirtless on Thursday as he tanned outside his vacation home in Barbados with a fruity cocktail in hand. He appears to have been living the life of a bachelor since splitting with Terri Seymour a few months ago, but he's no longer rolling solo - he's currently traveling with his married ex-girlfriend, the British singer Sinitta, and her two kids. On top of his newfound companionship, Simon also should be enjoying an unusually relaxing vacation considering that he's said to be making around $375,000 a day in royalties from all the holiday hits his record label released in the UK. Maybe all that extra cash is what's making him rethink his future with AI.

If you didn't already hear, Simon Cowell and long-time girlfriend Teri Seymour have called it quits, but according to People, he's not looking for love again anytime soon. He claimed to have sworn off women and his statement got me thinking.

We all handle breakups differently: some hibernate and regroup while others paint the town red or jump into another relationship. No one way is better than the other so tell me, do you tend to swear off men after a breakup like Simon is doing with women?

Simon Gets Us Psyched For the Return of AI

Simon Cowell knows how to vacation well. In between X-Factor and preparing for the new season of American Idol, Simon headed to the Caribbean with his girlfriend. He even showed off his smoking (boo) while driving a jet ski talent. The good news is that Simon's vacation won't last too long since new episodes of AI comes back next Tuesday! Buzz even got to sit in on a chat with Simon where he talked about how the show will get better and what's in store for this season. He also weighed in on Britney's situation (doesn't everyone?), saying

"It's never too late. I think she's the most searched artist on the Internet in the world at the moment, so she's got a good start. If I sat down with Britney I would No. 1 remind her of all the good things in her life -- which are her kids, her money, her success, everything. I'd take her out of where she's living at the moment and ask her to go live with her family and live normally for six months . . . It looks to me at the moment that she's out of control, and she's got to have someone in her life that she can listen to. She's welcome to call me any time."

Somehow we doubt that Britney will be running to the phone, but it would be pretty awesome to see how she handles Simon's tough love tactics.
