John & Edward are the Seventh Act to Leave The X Factor!

It was George Michael week on The X Factor, with the finalists singing a mix of his solo material and songs from his Wham! days. Susan Boyle and Mariah Carey performed on tonight's show, where we also found out that the finalists' charity single for Great Ormond Street Hospital - "We Are not Alone" - is number one in the charts! On Sunday night's show Olly Murs and John & Edward were given the news that they were in the bottom two of the public vote this week.

Simon, Cheryl and Dannii voted for John and Edward to go, while only Louis voted for Olly to leave. This leaves Louis with no acts left in the competition. What do you think - did they deserve to leave the competition?

Jamie Archer is the Sixth Act to Leave The X Factor!

It was Queen week on The X Factor, with the band joining the finalists for a song on last night's show! John & Edward won the majority of you over with their interpretation of "Under Pressure" mixed with "Ice Ice Baby" on Saturday while Stacey Solomon belted her song out as the final girl in the competition. Shakira performed on last nights show, which welcomed back their fellow final 12 finalists for a performance of their charity single for Great Ormond Street Hospital - "We Are not Alone". On Sunday night's show Lloyd Daniels and Jamie Archer were given the news that they were in the bottom two of the public vote this week.

The judges once again took the vote to deadlock - it's becoming a pattern - and Jamie was told that he'd be leaving the competition. He's the first of Simon Cowell's acts to leave the competition and Simon was left visibly shocked by the public vote. What do you think - did he deserve to leave the competition?

Are You Surprised by Forbes's Top-Earning Men in Prime Time?

Forbes recently released the list of Prime Time's Top-Earning Men. Who made the cut? In order, they are: Simon Cowell, followed by Donald Trump, Ryan Seacrest, Charlie Sheen, Steve Carell, Howie Mandel, Kiefer Sutherland, Jeff Foxworthy, Hugh Laurie, and at No. 10 (a tie!) David Caruso of CSI: Miami and Patrick Dempsey.

Simon Cowell at No. 1 is a no-brainer, thanks to the unstoppable machine that is American Idol (not to mention all of his other shows). But there are a few names that made me do a double take. Jeff Foxworthy, for instance - who knew that Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader was such a money generator? And where's Jeff Probst? I guess the Survivor franchise doesn't carry as much clout as I thought.

What about you? Other than maybe Simon Cowell at number 1, do you find this list surprising?

X Factor Group Songs - Love Them or Leave Them?

As I've been discussing The X Factor with you on Twitter over the past few weeks, I've noticed there's two things that always get people talking. One is John & Edward, and the other is the group songs that the entire group of contestants do at the beginning of Sunday's results show. The new addition to the show was started this series when the programme moved to two nights instead of one. Complaints have included that they're cheesy and that the contestants all mime, while their defenders say it's good to see them all working together! I'd love to know what you think about them, so here's this week's - "Walk This Way". Do you love them, or would you like to just leave them?

Rachel Adedeji is the Fourth Act to Leave The X Factor

It was Rock week on The X Factor this week, where Lucie Jones looked rather like Kristen Stewart during her performance of "Sweet Child of Mine" and John & Edward divided opinion yet again with their version of "We Will Rock You"! Danyl Johnson's confidence was very obviously knocked by being in the bottom two last week, and his performance was pretty shaky, but the public brought him back. Bon Jovi and JLS performed on tonight's show as we waited for the results, which brought surprisingly bad news for Rachel Adedeji and Lloyd Daniels, who were the bottom two in the public vote after their performances on Saturday.

Rachel was in the bottom two for the third time, and Lloyd has been sick this weekend and his voice cracked a few times during his performance tonight. Dannii and Louis voted to save Rachel, while Cheryl and Simon vote to save Lloyd, taking it to deadlock. Rachel was then announced as the act that would leave due to the public vote. John & Edward "We Will Rock You" - Amazing or Awful?

It's Rock week on The X Factor this week - in honour of Bon Jovi performing tonight! After John & Edward's attention grabbing performances like "Oops I Did It Again" in previous weeks, they got everyone talking with their performance of "We Will Rock You". It definitely resembled the 5ive version more than the Queen version, but they were put through a lot of choreography again by Brian Friedman. The Grimes twins were also covered in guyliner, with black streaks in their hair to rock things up a bit! Their singing wasn't great and they were totally out of time during one section, but they certainly entertained - what did you think?

They Got The Most Votes, But Do You Love John & Edward?

The X Factor's John & Edward have got everyone talking. Whether you love to hate them or can't wait to see what they do next, John and Edward Grimes are certainly making an impression, as it's been revealed that they got the highest number of votes on last week's show! Their now legendary performance of Britney Spears' "Oops I Did It Again" stunned viewers, and this week's performance of Ricky Martin's "She Bangs" was also completely over the top. They're definitely not the strongest singers, but they're obviously doing something right if they're receiving the most votes! So how do you feel about John & Edward?

Miss Frank is the Third Act to Leave The X Factor

It was big band week on The X Factor this week - not that you'd know from John & Edward's bizarre performance of "She Bangs" and Jamie Archer singing U2's "Angels of Harlem"! Saturday night's show featured Michael Buble mentoring the contestants, and a standout performance by Rachel Adedeji, who I felt improved greatly on previous weeks. Michael and Westlife performed on tonight's show as we waited for the results, which brought surprisingly bad news for Danyl Johnson and Miss Frank, who were the bottom two in the public vote after their performances on Saturday night.

Louis voted for Danyl to leave the competition, Simon and Dannii voted for Miss Frank to go, and then Cheryl voted for Danyl so that it would go to dead lock and the public vote would be final. Miss Frank were then announced as the act that would leave. What do you think - did they deserve to leave the competition? Let me know.

Rikki Loney is the Second Act to Leave The X Factor!

Rikki Loney was the second act to leave The X Factor tonight, following Kandy Rain's departure last week. It was another week of exciting performances after Cheryl Cole and Whitney Houston performed on the show, the latter not even letting a wardrobe malfunction faze her! At the end of the night, Rikki was voted into the bottom two alongside Rachel Adedeji who was in the bottom two last week, and took the news badly tonight, breaking down into tears. Then, after another performance from each of them, the three judges voted.

Dannii Minogue voted to keep Rachel in, and Cheryl Cole voted to keep in her act - Rikki. Simon Cowell had the deciding vote as Louis Walsh was absent after attending Stephen Gately's funeral, and he chose Rikki to go home based on tonight's performance of "Flying Without Wings". John & Edward "Oops I Did It Again" - Amazing or Awful?

Last night The X Factor contestants took part in Diva Week, paying tribute to amazing female vocalists like Whitney Houston, Leona Lewis and Christina Aguilera. I don't think anyone can deny that the performance that got people talking was those twins taking on Britney Spears "Oops I Did It Again" - including the cheesy talking part in the middle of the song. Wearing red PVC suits, eighteen year old John and Edward took the song on with a lot of energy and while their singing wasn't on top form it was certainly a very entertaining performance - but did you think it was amazing, or awful? Let me know!
