Chloe Green Wants Her Own Clothing Line

You are probably familiar with the name Chloe Green. She's the daughter of Arcadia boss Sir Philip Green and made a brief appearance in Topshop New York in 24 Hours. She's only 18, but since dropping out of her A levels has been living in Mayfair with her father and learning all about the fashion retail industry.

This weekend, father and daughter spoke to The Sunday Times Magazine about their relationship and working together. Sir Philip explained that although his children are very privileged they understand hard work. "What would make me angry is if Chloe thought she didn't have to work. This is a pretty unique family business, and it could become a very long-term family business. They're going to have to earn it, not be given it."

Chloe has certainly taken an interest in the family business and regularly attends meetings with her father. She explained, "Fashion isn't all glitz and glamour, and I'd never want to be a model. Kate [Moss] and Naomi [Campbell] are always telling me what a tough career it is."

She added that a clothing line wasn't out of the question. "Dad often says that I should do something for Topshop. Hopefully, one day I might design a Chloe Green for Topshop range. I've not really thought it through yet. But I don't think it's asking too much."

The A-List Help Simon Cowell Celebrate His 50th in Style

Simon Cowell turns 50 on Wednesday, so he gathered his A-list pals at Wrotham Park mansion on Saturday for a lavish party. His fellow X Factor judges Cheryl Cole, Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh plus presenters Holly Willoughby and Dermot O'Leary joined the celebrations, with Dannii and Louis both buying him a mirror. Simon's Britain's Got Talent colleagues Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan were also spotted leaving the party. Simon's such a popular guy, his friends will even cross oceans to congratulate him on his milestone birthday, and Ryan Seacrest and Randy Jackson made the trip to represent American Idol.

Kate Moss continued the birthday celebrations of last week with Jamie Hince, while James Corden and David Walliams shared a lift. Gordon and Tana Ramsay and Naomi Campbell also joined the party, which was Simon themed with waiters wearing masks of his face and alphabet spaghetti spelling out his name! There were also giant inflatable sex toys to entertain the guests at the party, which reportedly cost £2million. It sounds like such a fun night!

Burberry Brings Brit A-List Victoria, Alexa, Agy & Emma to LFW

Yesterday's Burberry show saw the most star-studded front row of London Fashion Week, with British stars like Victoria Beckham, Alexa Chung, Agyness Deyn, Emma Watson and Daisy Lowe rubbing shoulders with American fashionistas including Mary-Kate Olsen, Liv Tyler and Gwyneth Paltrow. Dev Patel and Freida Pinto were adorable holding hands next to Alexa, while Emma and Gwyneth had a laugh together. Victoria kept a serious face as she watched the show, and described the collection as "fantastic" and added that she'd "had a lot of fun".

After the show the gang headed to the closing party, alongside Fashion Week fans Anna Wintour, Erin O'Connor, Donna Air, David Walliams, Trinny Woodall, Twiggy, Sarah Cameron, Sir Philip Green, Tamsin Egerton, Lady Victoria Hervey, Tara Palmer-Tomkinson and Jameela Jamil. The Kooks provided the music and Alexa and Agy turned DJs for the party. I love seeing Victoria, Alexa, Agy and Emma in their gorgeous outfits: what do you think of all the fashion choices? A few months ago, Sir Philip Green extended the Topshop empire as the first US store opened in New York City. There was a lot of hype surrounding the opening as Kate Moss also launched her latest designs as she posed in a green gown. Beth Ditto launched her clothing line for Evans last night, and her designs enticed an array of celebrities out into London for the party! Beth's long time buddy Kate Moss was there, alongside Sir Philip Green - whose Arcadia group owns both Evans and Topshop. Simon Cowell arrived with Terri Seymour and enjoyed a few laughs with Kate before heading to Cheryl Cole's birthday bash, while Peaches Geldof, Daisy Lowe, Luke Worrell and Kelly Osbourne also attended. Do you like Peaches' new hairdo? Gok Wan and Claudia Winkleman posed for photographers at the party, while Jamie Hince also enjoyed himself watching Kate and Beth karaoke it up, as they sang "Space Oddity" by David Bowie! What a fun night!

Cheryl Cole's Star Studded Birthday Party

Cheryl Cole celebrated her 26th birthday with hubby Ashley and a whole host of famous friends at Vanilla Club in London last night. The X Factor was well represented, with judges Simon Cowell, Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh in attendance, as well as presenter Holly Willoughby. Last year's winner Alexandra Burke and also-ran Diana Vickers were also there, as was judge's assistant Emma Bunton. Cheryl's Girls Aloud band mates Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts joined in with the party spirit. Having worked on her actual birthday, Cheryl made the most of her night, showing off her unique style in a daring dress. My girl FabUK wants to know whether you love or hate Cheryl's sheer dress. There'll be a few sore heads today!

Fashion's Movers and Shakers in the Sunday Times Rich List

Yesterday, The Sunday Times published their annual rich list and it was not without a few fashion faces. Obviously, because of the financial climate it's been a tumultuous year for cash flow, but some of the biggest names in retail have managed to stay high up in the list. Sir Philip Green has made an enormous impact on the High Street, particularly with Topshop which recently launched in New York. He is sixth in the list, along with his wife Lady Green, reportedly owning £3.83 billion despite losing £500 million in the past 12 months.

Other key fashion names in the list included BFC chairman Harold Tilman at number 201. He has investments in Jaeger, and has unfortunately lost £70 million this year. Paul Smith is also on the list and is well placed for the difficult time ahead having just opened a warehouse in his hometown of Nottingham. He lost £30 million, but still holds on to a cool £230 million.

Tamara Mellon is one of only 100 women in the list and has managed to keep her wealth at an equal level to last year at £102 million. She has recently made significant investments in the revival of Halston which has so far been very successful.
