It's been one year today since Heidi and Spencer's elopement in Mexico, but the couple won't be spending it together.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt did their best to smile for the cameras yesterday as they arrived at LAX. They were on their way to NYC to begin promoting their new book, "How to Be Famous," but first up was the requisite kissing and posing for their friends the paparazzi. Unfortunately, their scheduled interview this morning on The Today Show ended up being cancelled — and that set off the latest round of Heidi and Spencer's feud with Al Roker.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt continued their media tour of NYC yesterday with a stop at MTV to tape an appearance for It's On With Alexa Chung and chat about their book How to Be Famous. The duo also had time for a signing at Borders, where Heidi looked happy to hop on a table and pose with their product even though one of our sources says not too many people actually turned out to see them. The duo also had time for interviews with Tyra, Kelly Ripa and many more, twittering all about their many adventures.

This isn't exactly breaking news, but Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt started the rumor mill up again when they mentioned that they're shopping around their own spinoff from The Hills. The show would focus more on their everyday lives and acknowledge their "fame", which apparently has risen to such levels that they've gone and written a book about it.
I'm kind of over The Hills in general, and I think there are plenty of former (or current) reality stars out there who are more deserving of his/her own show.

It was the first time we've seen the fluffy duo, but Heidi and Spencer have been twittering up a storm about the dogs since Spencer got her Dolly for her birthday. Ninja joined the Pratt family a few weeks later, but is actually from the same litter as Dolly.

Heidi's Playboy cover hits shelves tomorrow, but the interview portion is out now. Spencer conducted the questioning of his wife, in an article that provided way TMI about their sex life.
